Now please consider: I have not played for almost 14 months. I just recently returned 3 weeks ago. The 'nerf' changes to templars had not gone into effect before I left.59 Templar. 15 Flowing thought, 2 character traditions for +10 power regen. Now me question:What is the amount I should be regenerating --in combat-- with the above mentioned?I ask because I seem to have no inherant regen. I am only regaining 25 power a tick (sometimes 26) when I am in combat. Was there changes to regen in my absence such that there is no longer an inate combat regen?Am I mistaken in how the character traits for regen work?Thank you for your help with this.<div></div>

<div></div>Way back then you could expect to regen 5% of your power pool out of combat, and 1% in-combat... plus some other things like spells/items/etc.Now I think it follows something like 1pt per 10 levels, plus one.  So technically you should regen 6+15+10(31) per six seconds.  I can't really guess why you're short that amount.  Its only been about a month since I last verified how it works.<div></div>

<P>If the two character trait regens don't stack, that would make the difference.</P> <P>I read some time ago that they probably don't stack, but I can't verify that with</P> <P>all the changes that have happened since then.</P>

<div></div>My level <b>70</b> character should have the following for in-combat power regen:Flowing Thought (53) [(1.5 * <b>70</b>) / 2]Character Traits (10) [5 + 5]Innate Regen (<img src="/smilies/b2eb59423fbf5fa39342041237025880.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> [(<b>70</b> / 10) + 1]______________________________Total (71) [53 + 10 + 8]When I type "/dynamicdata Stats.Power_Regen" while in combat, that's the number the game gives me.  I can also manually calculate the difference every six seconds for the same amount. So I was able to verify again that what I thought the formulas were is probably true.  It shouldn't really be variable either... shifting from 25 to 26.  I suggest you try the command I listed above and see if it says anything different than your previous assumingly manual calculations.<div></div>

Excellent / command there. Is there a list of other useful ones?280 out of combat regen, 26 incombat regen. Is there a way to see how it is breaking down?I am wondering if an error I had when I first logged back in after 14 months is part of the problem.I had essentially a whole respec of character choices (as I am sure many of you faced). When I chose one, I am not certain it was the power regen, I got a larger font saying '[DEVL]INVALID - ' with part of a letter trailing the - but cutoff by the window, in the skillups window (You get better at mining 213/220). The Game crashed right to desktop, and I did a reboot. I didnt think much of it at the time, loaded back in and I felt like I was where I left off on choices. To be honest it was just the sort of thing I expected from SOE as it was like that when first started too, alot of crashes. I smirked and thought it was a welcome back present. Is there a way to see what choices it has me registered as choosing?<div></div>

<div></div>Not a list per se, but if you open <i>EQ2UIDefaulteq2ui_gamedata.xml</i> you can see all of the paritions usable for /dynamicdata.  It usually just follows a DataSource.DynamicData syntax to type in.  The Stats DataSource is usually the most interesting as it holds data for AA attributes not usually seen in persona windows.Unfortunately I know of no way to view what you selected as character traits.  I might as go so far as trying to petition a GM to look into your issue to see if there is anything wrong.  If you convince them that your power regen is broken even though you should have more, maybe you'll get lucky and get a free respec to try it again.<div></div>

<div></div>Without knowing who the quoted person was, it sounded like he was making a politically charged comparison to current times.  That's just my interpretation.Secondly, this isn't the place to discuss this.  You revived a dead thread, seemingly... which is against forum rules, and I would not be surprised to see this topic locked soon because of that.  If you have a problem with his sig, post in one of his newer threads... or PM him... or if it bothers you so much that you feel you need to get others involved, as you have already, PM a forum moderator to take your complaint into consideration.<div></div>
