<div></div><div></div><div></div>I've finally got around to getting most of the work done on my UI mod for level 70 templars. If you have any problems I'd like to hear about them. Here is the URL to download the file containing the files needed:Download from EQ2Interfaces:<a href="http://www.eq2interface.com/downloads/fileinfo.php?id=4299" target=_blank>http://www.eq2interface.com/downloads/fileinfo.php?id=4299</a>Download from my website:<a href="http://www.greycouncil.us/modules.php?op=modload&name=Downloads&file=index&req=getit&lid=8" target="_blank">http://www.greycouncil.us/modules.php?op=modload&name=Downloads&file=index&req=getit&lid=8</a>Here is a image of what the group menu looks like using this mod, the names are blotted to protect the innocent, yadda yaddah.<img src="http://www.greycouncil.us/modules/My_eGallery/gallery/EQ2/GroupMenu.jpg">You can adjust the group to be vertical or horizontal. Here is the readme file in the zip file to describe what it does:70:Templar Group UI, BETA, v07.03This group UI mod is specificially for level 70 Templar's at the moment. In future I might have it work with other levels but for now if you want that you'll need to edit the file to work with your spell names. This group UI performs the click to cure (arcane, truama, poison and elemental) as well as click to heal, reactive, focus and so on. INSTALL: unzip the contents into your custom UI directory. Primary file is eq2ui_mainhud_groupmembers.xml. Once you have done that you should be able to login to EQ2 and see the new group UI once you have group members. To activate the icons simply press them and it will cast that effect on that player. If the player has a poison or any other effect it will show an icon to the left or right of their name and how many effects of that type they are infected with. Click that icon and it will cast the cure for it. Due to the way the casting is performed it will NOT queue the spells. The reason for this is to make sure that the player is targeted during heavy activity seasons I target them using a target command. You shouldn't ever have a situation where you click the spell icon and it not change your target. If you do let me know but I'm not sure what else I can do to ensure it works. From left to right the spell icons in the group menu are:Resurrect, Salvation, Reverance, Focus, Single Reactive, Large Insta-Heal, Small Insta-HealYou can see the names of them by mousing over the icons. Each player has a F-Key associated with them and is displayed. So player 1 is F2, player 2 is F3 and so on. This is for those people like me that can't seem to remember. If you wish to follow someone in your group simply click the F-Key icon for that player. When a member joins or drops from group a join/leave group sound will be heard (you will hear that sound when you first load up EQ2 as well, due to how the game loads UI files).<div></div><p>Message Edited by Celestian_GC on <span class="date_text">07-03-2006</span> <span class="time_text">11:46 PM</span></p><p>Message Edited by Celestian_GC on <span class="date_text">07-04-2006</span> <span class="time_text">01:34 AM</span></p><p>Message Edited by Celestian_GC on <span class=date_text>07-13-2006</span> <span class=time_text>01:58 PM</span>

This looks great. Thank you!Is it easy to change the spell triggered by each icon (I'm a noob at modding)?

Just open up the XML file and poke around a bit and you will find that each spell is activated by "usea Spellname Here". You can just replace the spellname with whatever you want to. With a bit more tinkering you can do the same for the mouse over help text (the one that tells you what each icon does). At some point I am hoping to make it so that if your class is not Templar it won't display the icons and use another set. So that each healer type can have their own and eventually each level range of spells. I've got the Fury set done and I'm in the process of making it know who is who when you use it though I expect it will take me sometime since I'm not very fast worker on this.</div>

This is a great UI mod, however I have one request/suggestion. Is there anyway you can make it a full 6 person group window, with the templar in the #1 spot. I tried a new group window that did not have me listed at the top of the list as I am in the UI mod I have used forever, and I found that in tight situations where lag is a factor, sometimes I am ONLY looking at my group window, and some times I have gone so far as to not notice that I have taken a couple of AE's, and could use a heal myself if I am not at the top of the list like I am in my current UI.

It has the same icons (asside from resurrect obviously) and F-Key icon. It's not exactly the same so I'll have to tweak it some but when I do I'll include it in the mod for folks like yourself that want to do this.</div>

Has the original linked website gone down? Is the file uploaded anywhere else, such as eq2interface?

I block a lot of IP space because of open proxy sites and I imagine that's what your problem is.</div>
