Can anyone tell me how much our crit melee AA in the stamina line gives at 8/8 or link me to someplace that does? What about the generic DPS boost from the third agility AA?  If you get both of those, how do they stack? Does it apply the agility first and then the crit (which would be awesome)?<div></div>

<DIV>I'm not sure how dps bonus and crit bonus stack.  And I'm not sure it even matters.  Let's do some math then.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Max Damage for an autoattack = 100</DIV> <DIV>DPS Bonus is 20 percent (and I'm assuming this just means 20 percent more damage is done on each attack)</DIV> <DIV>Crit Damage is max*1.3</DIV> <DIV>Crit percentage is 100 percent.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Ignoring mob mitigation and assuming we hit for crit max everytime... if the dps bonus was applied before the crit.  We'd have a (100+(100*.2))*1.3 attack.  For a constant attack rate of 156.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Again, ignoring mob mitigation and assuming we hit for crit max everytime... if the dps bonus was applied after the crit.  We'd have (100*1.3)+((100*1.3)*.2).  For a constant attack rate of 156.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So, it doesn't matter which one is applied first.  Either way, the numbers come out the same.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Hope that helps.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>A critical isn't automatically max*1.3.  The damage roll occurs, then checks for critical, and then applies the 1.3x damage modifier if a critical is achieved.  Critical hits can vary, often dramatically.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV><p>Message Edited by Kendricke on <span class=date_text>06-07-2006</span> <span class=time_text>08:44 AM</span>

<DIV>Yes I know Kendricke.  The range according to moorgard is max+1 to max*1.3.  But due to mob mitigation, debuffs or whatever, you may see a critical hit below max and critical hits way above max*1.3.  At least that's how Moorgard explained it.  In any case, I was using max*1.3 just to make the comparison between the two methods of applying a dps mod easier.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>
