Is there a way to tell how many charges are left . . . how much actual time is left on the reactive I just cast on the MT? I have a suspicion it's on the MT's buff window but that thing is so small I have trouble just locating that buff.

Thanks for your help.

Yes, the single target reactive shows the amount of procs left when you put your mouse over its icon on the maintained spells window. The group reactive does not show this information. Edit: Oops, sorry, didn't notice you asked for the time. The time is visible on that same icon I mentioned earlier and group reactive also shows it. So it seems you dont have the maintained spells window visible. Unfortunately I can't help you with that at the moment as I am at work :smileytongue:

Message Edited by Timaarit on 05-24-2006 02:55 PM

If I remember correctly, Alt-M opens your maintained spells bar, and on there, after you cast your reactive, the spell will show a level that keeps dropping as time goes by (just like fluid leaking out of a container - poor analogy, I know).

If you move your mouse over the reactive, it will tell you how many uses is has left as well.

I don't know if the time is on the default UI or not, but Fetish Nightfall has a timer on the icon in the maintained spells window (As well as for all time based spells). Also, if I remember right, SOE is going to add the amount of charges left to the icon as well.

They have already added the amount of charges left (so it may make its way into custom UI's now the data is there). Its only for the single target reactive that I've noticed. The group one, and the stunned/focused line do not have this info.I was hoping it would show up in the maintained spell list icon, without requiring a mouseover - like the nice thing they've done with potion counts (except they also count your bank vault, but thats another issue).

I have a special window set up that only has my heals show uop and only as numbers i then hav ehte windo as small as it will go and have it right next to my heal keys i can then count them as they fire off i dont even need to see the icon which i can if i need to in the maintained spells window. different reacives fire off different amounts know what yours is at and its easu to count. you can also sometimes listen for the amount of the "BrssshhAhhhhh" sounds every time it fires off and count that way to. Using these methods i can keep my eyes on the hitpoit bars and not look away durring heavu combat were each second counts. And ive found that looking to far across the screen for healing info can cost spit seconds and lives.
