<DIV>last night proved to me that we are... i was duoing with a friend of mine (i just dinged 50 and he is a lvl 44 monk) we were killing shade prowlers in SS.  had 4 on us, had 3 or 4 asps add...  so we had 7 or 8 (dont remember it was flying by so fast hehe) blue to me mobs beatin us down.  we almost died a LOT hahaha  but... with careful planning etc we survived only slightly bruised and battered...  he also duos with a warden a lot and has a shammy that he plays... we both agreed that there is no way a shammy or druid could have kept up with heals in that situation. this is just one of a hundred times that we survived things we shouldnt have...  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>on the other hand... in a normal xp group with my hubby (54 zerker) and a few of our friends... i often times stand around staring blindly into space... or foraging...  throw on a reactive from time to time and he's usually good... </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>so basically, on a day to day basis, any priest will do... but when the excrement hits the fan...  you know who to turn to <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> your friendly (or not so friendly in the case of an inquisitor) neighborhood cleric <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

<DIV>For a view from the other side of the healing...</DIV> <DIV>I think a couple factors really helped us last night. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>One - Communication. Letting the healer know what you are doing so you can make decisions together makes a huge difference. example: "Pullin mobs off you. hold on." or simply "Taunting", "switching", or My fav "FD INC" which is her 5 second head start to RUN RUN RUN. before I FD and she gets all the attention. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Two - Knowing your toon. Death is really not that big of a deal. you never really know your limitations until you've pushed it past the edge a few times. instead of argueing when we die on a pull (yes usually my fault), we talk about a new strategy and try again. usually we end up figuring out a way to get ir done and sleep off the xp debt. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As for the Difference in healing. Absolutely would take a Templar over any other healer in that situation. It was 80% DPS and 20% keeping agro off of Rachett. Communication again was key as she knew when i was taunting so she didnt use her spells to throw off agro at the same time and waste them. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Whyte Lyghting </DIV> <DIV>Bad Monkey of the Sea Monkeys - Faydark</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>"Screaming SAVE ME MINAA since 1999"</DIV><p>Message Edited by Kaseko on <span class=date_text>11-18-2005</span> <span class=time_text>09:02 AM</span>
