So I was thinking templars should have combat arts, they are ''battle priests''. They go along with the overall concept of the class. My strength is higher than my intelligence why not let me play to my strength ? Give me combat arts !

combat arts are fighter territory; no class gets both spells and combat arts. you signed on to be a spellcaster, albeit one with weapon-swinging capability. that's exactly what you have, and the likelihood of getting the best of both fighter and healer worlds via spells and combat arts both is, to say the least, low.

Message Edited by Andalla on 11-17-2005 01:19 PM

Healers desiring more combat ability, combat arts, and combat utility would do well to look into the paladin class.

Message Edited by Kendricke on 11-17-2005 01:28 PM
I probably should've played a paladin, I like the whole holy warrior thing. Too late now, gotta make the most outta what I've got. The 3 characters I have now are the only 3 I'll have, so that's that.

Well if we did get combat ability, combat arts, and combat utility we would be close to what a Templar is historically. I think it would be fun if we could toss out 100 dps melee dmg but SoE will never go for it.
