Don't you wonder, just how hard would it be to allow someone to respec their entire character.

We use to believe that we would never be able to change our appearance, then SOGA, and low and behold, you can alter you old style appearance as well. For a time and then it will be locked again. Why does it have to be locked? What is the big deal?

I imagine that a class respec would take very little for them to do, have very little adverse affect on the game, and give some people a ray of hope. Even if was ONE character per account.

So you can have a chance to fix that one mistake you made before you were fully informed.

For me I have a level 13 sorceror, that should have been a summoner, alas he will be a box mule for some time to come.

I wouldn't change my Templar, ok yeah if it was free, I would change him to a Fury in a second. But given one choice, I would alter that sorceror, because wiz and warlock are not my style, even though I 'thought' they were.

He is also an Armorer which would be my last choose for his artisan skill. But I didn't completely understand before I made the choice.

I know, I know, my fault for not fully understanding my options. Oh well, so it goes.

Message Edited by CoLD MeTaL on 11-15-2005 08:25 AM

As much as I would never ever normally condone this I have to say with the absolute crazy magnatude of changes that was LU13 I believe this may not be a bad Idea . Too many people created based on pre LU 13 .

It's true.

If they can radically change the game without our consent or even an option to opt out, why can't we have an option to change our class?

The LU#13 nuke, needs a retaliation option!

"Shall we play a game?"

Which of course hurts everyone the players and SOE . As much as I wanted this game to make it even post Vanguard I fear its just not gonna happen . The game didnt do well out of the box or at the very least it didnt make expectations . Now we see knee jerk changes being made to try and attract a new customer base and I fear that has terribly back fired as well . All of that translates to less for all involved which includes but is not limmited to over all content ...expansions ....bug fixes ... and eventually lay offs at SOE .
