<DIV>try wearing lighter armor.  it's not hard to get avoidance up in the mid-high 20's with some decent agility.  Using HO's during combat is also a plus as Inspiring Piety will raise your casting skills.  Items and now the DoF mount that adds to your focus and other casting skills are helpful as well. Might also consider investing in a good buckler if you want to solo.</DIV> <DIV>Best advise is to throw everything you expect before the revamp out the window, it's spilled milk.  Templars now is not as strong and not as versatile as before in a single, unaided package.  however,  there are plenty of tools (potions, items, totems) that can help you along the way that you might of not consider using before the revamp.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>And to answer your question: no, I actually find myself better at soloing after LU16 with the improments to the sign of weakness line and involentary healer line (perspective of a high lvl templar, i'm sorry if i dont represent the lower level people too well).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Aeowyn, Everfrost</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

lol... I just posted a thread in the combat and encounters about interrupts and "SOE's Plate Hate". Interrupts seem way up to me after LU16.

<DIV>Dang, I haven't even played my templar since this update but if interrupts etc. have *increased*, well, lol, words fail me.   This was far too much of a pain before the update. One thing I know is the little druid I am leveling up seems to get interrupted about once every five fights.</DIV>

Interrupts have indeed increased. One reason I noticed was that the mob were using all types of stuns on players. Many times while fighting 3 51 down arrow mobs (scorpions in one case), I was continuously getting stunned, Cannot cast etc. Then I noticed that they have 3-4 spells on me. Maybe we need to improve our resists also.As for fizzles, I have different experience. I played for about 5 hours yesterday and got approximately 5-6 fixxles total. Maybe this has to do with our WIS? At 56, My buffed WIS was 398 (I think).<div></div>

<DIV>I just finished Bone Bladed Claymore Heritage quest (kind of late, but I got a free ebon ..the thing that was stopping me from finishing it)   One of the steps in that is 'kill 1000 sentient beings'.  So of course I headed to Antonica to find a quiet corner that wouldn't interefere with lower leveled players and would let me knock that 1000 out really fast.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>To my surprise, a level 17 (non heroic)  mob of 4 skells at Caltorsis - interrupted my damage spell twice, and broke my level 48 (?)  Master I root (casted as an experiment cause I couldn't believe the interrupt)...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So, the interrupts and fizzles are not about your own skillups or any stat you have.   Those mobs should have died in 1 hit, IMO with ZERO chance for resist and NO ability to interrupt me.   They were actually hitting me for damage, as well...not much, but some hits were landing.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

I've been wearing this oddball chain BP I ran across most of the time lately.  Doesn't seem like it should, but it increases both my mitigation and my avoidance over my imbued pristine fulginate plate (one point on the mitigation).  I could be kidding myself, but the increased avoidance does seem to help.  I've really been thinking of buying an alternate outfit based on avoidance to do a comparison, once I feel like blowing that much cash =) <p>Message Edited by Gchang on <span class=date_text>11-11-2005</span> <span class=time_text>02:09 PM</span>
