All, Isn't the real problem with the templar right now that our avoidance sucks? This is what makes soloing such a pain - it's not really the DPS factor; this is an issue, but its the fact that we get interrupted so often that we can't even cast our spells. I don't understand the posts that say INT or STA is the second best stat to have; shouldn't AGI be the second best stat? The other thing that confuses me is that if you compare a Templar and a Pally with equivalent armor (Feyiron, for example) and equal AGI (~70), the Templar avoidance is 9 percent (!) and the Pally avoidance is 25 percent. Maybe there is a bug in caclulating our avoidance properly??? Descartes 38 Templar Tox

This is really my only problem with soloing right now. Being interupted one in three casts makes soloing anything an absolute nightmare. This is largely due to the fact that we lost our parry, and heavy armor means nothing right now. It used to be a bonus to choosing a templar, now it doesn't matter as a templar will get [Removed for Content] just as fast as a wizard. I really don't want more damage. If I could have my ability to stay alive and casts a few spells between interuptions back, I would be happy to keep my horrible dps. This or improved healing, but we know thats not happening...

Curaga
53 Templar
Unrest

I can't honestly say I view this as the main problem, but it is a major source of irritation ... and not just interrupts, but to me it's the combination of interrupts, fizzles, and resists. Sometimes it feels like you can sit there and cast 8 times to get something land. That may be a bit of an exaggeration, but it does get extreme at times.

For me the resists are also rather extreme. Yes, I fight exclusive yellows and oranges, because anything less is no challenge, so, obviously, one can expect more resists. But still, it seems extreme to me, and when you add it to the interrupts and fizzles it's maddening.

The interrupts are the biggest problem when fighting 3-4 mobs. That's to be expected. But when you add it all up there is one heck of a lot of futile clicking going on.
