<DIV>Sorry, but am new to posting and hit the enter key to go down, here I hope is the rest of my post.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 </DIV> <DIV>Hello all,</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I have read most of the posts in this thread, and here is my 2 coppers worth.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I have played various Mmorpg games since Kunark days of EQ, usually playing a Paly or Ranger, including the beta of EQ2.  I choose to play WOW instead when it came out, and got my Paly to level 60.  Great game, but after many months of playing, was tired of no real end game, except uber raiding, ....</DIV> <DIV>Anyway, since I had prepurchased EQ2, I figured I would try it.   After reviewing all the classes and their abilities, I selected the Templar for the following reasons:  Templar was the best healer....i suspect their utility was taken into account but not sure....................Templar could wear heavy armor - now i had read that this was because they had less hit points and this was a way to offset that, but I definately saw this as a plus....................I also read where the Templar did not have SOW, or EVAC or INVIS...but was fine with that since he was the best healer and could wear heavy armor....those were the reasons I chose to play a Templar.............................I have not played my level 40 Templar since a few weeks after the combat changes took place and dont see myself playing him again, have now gone back to playing a Paly but this is not the class i chose  and may just quit the game on principle...I have a very limited time to play, and unfortunately find myself soloing most of the time......this is something I could not do effectively anymore...sure I could still take a blue, or maybe if I was lucky an even con, but now if i got one add, I was toast and the time it took to kill did not make this worthwhile.</DIV> <DIV>To those on this thread who say give me the facts...my response is...does Sony have anyone playing a templar in this game?  Before any changes are made to the game, I believe it is thier responsiblity to ensure that the changes are what they had in mind to give some luv to the underpowered class, and that nothing other than what was intended should happen, especially to weaken any other class again unless that is what they intended.     My view of my Templar now is:  He is not the best healer anymore....all heal for the same amount just differently(if this is true, they one of my 2 main reasons for picking the Paly has been eliminated).....Templar wearing heavy armor is now a negative, not a positive......no i have not counted the number of interrupts I now experience, but hopefully all can agree it is a lot more than before......sorry I did not see where we received more hit points due to now being at a disadvantage if we wear heavy armor...   We did not get SOW or any other ability to balance us with other healers.....why not?  If are main advantages to playing a Templar are taken away, then why did Sony not go the final step and give us the class advantage of the other healers?  AS already pointed out in this thread, they balanced healing, but not utility....so we are now at the bottom of the healing classes....Is this what Sony intended?  I can only assume so, since I would hope they have a templar on the dev team who supplied input.  This my perception of the changes and why I cant wait until another mmorpg comes out to make the move.  I have been through many nerfs over the years...DAOC is famous for making changes one way, then another every few months....but figured since EQ2 had been out a while before I joined, I was pretty safe in selecting to play a Templar....I was mistaken.  </DIV> <DIV>So for those want facts, can u now dispute that our main advantage....the best healing has been taken away?......and that our other big benefit...wearing heavy armor...is now a negative?   And I wont even go into  our woefull DPS, I dont think anyone on this thread disputes that.  As far as I am concerned SONY did a very poor job of doing any research on the impact of these changes to Templars....unless again this is what they intended.  Thanks for reading  </DIV> <DIV> Bilder level 40 Templar                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    </DIV>
