When hitting lvl 54 things started to change, ones again i can say that we are the NO.1 healers again. We get our grand intercession spell master 2, and it helps alot both for solo and grouping. And upgrading concecrated strike to a3 is very nice to play whit against the undead creatures especily when ppl debuff them to, feels very nice to hit them whit a total damage around 1000 -1400. And all that fizz and interupts is not that common anymore to. Ok we still solo slow compared to most all other classes, but hey we doing it safe and thats fine for me.

Finaly i got that nice templar kick back =)

Lets see 5 extra damage per 20 int or so, 250 dmg roughly that means youd need about 1400 int to do 700 damage with the smite you have... nice buffs your friend must have. I find at the most my damage gos up about 20 - 40 on the mainlines from grpmates buffs.

Consecrated Strike Adept3 with Divine debuffing from the Mark line, it is not uncommon to hit for 1k damage against undead just solo.

There are definitely "hell" levels where you can't do much damage at all. I was in one until I hit 37 and got my Warring Faith spell upgrade. Now I solo fairly easily. I'm just waiting for the next reactive upgrade at this point, because it's proving fairly useless when I group with people in their early 40's

My highest magic hit is 2,405 Damage but that doesnt mean I did it with a smite or strike. It was from a multi class HO which I happened to finish. Yes the strike hits for more than smite, against undead. But even so thats still like 700 int needed.

Sheesh, calm down people, all he said was he hit 54 and is having more fun. Have to say I had the same experience. Better DPS, better healing less interupts and fizzles. We don't have to turn everything into a Solo DPS vs Fury arguement.

When all you have is a hammer everything looks like a nail.

dont put the HO HighestHit here...we all know that the 1000-1400 means 500x2-700x2 hit... wont pass 1k single smite

/bonk all

It was a result from a 4 step HO while grouping. So what are you celebrating? Some classes have made over 60000 points of damage. I know that my templar could do that if I were the last link in a 6 step HO.

Well the thing i was talking on was that great damage against undead we will do when we get the concecrated strike at lvl 54, not HO damage that you will do on a 4 or 5 step on it. And this is not a celebrating my self thread, but its seems you want some credits for your 5000, "GRATZ Timaarit =) ". And the meaning whit the thread is still to give some hope to all templars out there.

Well templars only hope is in grouping. And even in that, we are no longer the best option. I just got my templar to lvl 54 mostly by soloing. The quests in PoF are a true pain to templars. Anyone who has dueled a healing class should know. Some of the solo quests there require killing solo healers that have clerical heals. The heals heal for 250 to 270 points and my nukes do about that damage. Every single fight agaist those last for close to 3 minutes and in the end the mob is at 0 power and health and my templar was at 50% to 100% health and close to 0 power. Also as it is, our pacify line breaks with damage. Warlock and conjurer pacify does not. So no, there is not much hope for our class untill some of the devs pick a templar as their main.

Geez, all he wanted to say was he is enjoying his Templar more now that he made lvl 54. As for that, SO AM I ! Once I made lvl 54, the game made a drastic change. The Grand Intersession heals for more than most mobs hit, so the MT gains health when hit, just like pre LU-13. Now that I am LVL 57 I am the sole healer in groups and rarely go below 50% mana. All you nay sayers, whiners, and doubting thomases please do the entire Templar community a favor and reroll another toon or go play another game. For Gods sake people, give it a rest. If you must complain, [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn], and moan, post it on one of the 50...whoa is me threads and lay in your own misery.

TEMPLARS ARE NUMBER ONE <STRIKE>AGAIN</STRIKE> STILL!

Exactly, they get a similar heal. What does that mean? It means that even though our heal is great and so on, theirs is just as good in comparison as the one before. So if you couldn't heal at lvl 53 and they could, well, at 54 they can still heal better than you. But true, healing is easier with the lvl 54 m2 heal. But then again, so it will be for all other healing classes. Since we were not the NO.1 at lvl 53, we sure wont be that at lvl 54 either.
