I had a conversation with a few people and we were wondering if this type of thread would go more than 5 posts or if everyone is just too angry. Mention something you like about Templar.

I like my Templar because of the Glory of Combat spell. I love the fact a heal can proc just because someone is attacking something.

Message Edited by Radar-X on 10-19-2005 11:05 AM

Impossible I say! hehe

I love the obvious and that is our reactive heals. I love the thought of seeing it from an enemy stand point. I mean think about it, you slash the stomach of Kilratha mortaly....oops reactive heal he is all better! haha it must be so discouraging.

I like my Templar because.... * We have more healing lines than any other Priests * Our buffs are extremely good * We can dump our entire heal load in an instant to handle damage spam * Because healing for me is childs play on my Templar

Because most named have one of the effects that sanctuary cancels.

Glory of combat is a great spell when put on melee classes....I love how much healing this spell does. And I look forward to upgrades to it one day.

Reverance, is great for healing people other then the MT without burning up one of your main heals you should be using on the MT. (so long as nothing beating on the person anymore). It's also a great spell for the pull when a tank may spam combat arts to build aggro.

I love how people know there in the hands of a good healer when I join the group. They know I can easily keep them alive even in some very hairy situations.

Resurrect, 100% hp returned....standing someone up in a fight with 100% hp is so great...and I've even had people exclaim in happiness over the rez. If your on a raid, the best rezzes(to my knowledge) are templar and paladin....after that it's a downward slide.

Resurrect is nice with it's 100% hp incombat rez as well as having Battle's Reprieve on a seperate timer as a backup rez. Of course Blazon life also returns a nice ammount of hp and power as a incombat group rez and has come in handy many times. Last night my guild went down in Silent City to the Fountain of Life Epic area. I have 2 scouts in my group with GoC and I was stacking Mark and Involuntary on alot of the mobs as well as throwing in Amending Fate here and there. With reactives up, heal procs running and Fate group healing, it was a raid-wide spam of golden healing light courtesy of my Templar. I remember the Mystic and Fury quite clearly, "Whoa!"

...he helps people in need. When he starts getting smacked on he doesnt run around like a girly girl he stand there and takes it! Thank you sir may I have another! Heh I play Curative as if I were the healer wnadering about the land helping folks. One thing that keeps me from becoming digruntled most days is that I dont look at the numbers. I cannot stand over anylizing my class. It just gives me a headache. As long as the group is still alive after a battle, then Curative is a happy priest. Sometimes he loses someone due to either being overwhelmed or his heal timers being linked.

Am I a SOE fanboi? maybe a little. Am I a roleplayer? Kinda. Am I a powergamer? Larse no! Im a Casual gamer and proud of It.
I am not in any hurry to reach the top in Eq2. My focus isnt on my exp bar. My focus is on having fun and doing my part in the world of Norrath for my guild and everyone else i meet. Curative isnt crazy about solo hunting but does it to pass the time in beteeen groups. However when soloing he doesnt just kill anything in his path ...no...he hunts down and kills undead for he is the undead hunter who is trying to achieve undead slayer. Once the title is achived he is farely certain that the underbelly of the undead world will quake at the mere mention of the name Curative!

THAT is why I like my templar

ooc: dont get caught in the details people just go out and play and have fun. Immerse yourself in the world and dont think of the GUI as a game controlling interface, think of it as the brain for the hero you control in the land of Norrath. focus on the surroundings in our little virtual world and not what the corporate entity that runs it is doing. If the game isnt fun at the moment, turn it off for a week and take a break. no game should stress you out or [Removed for Content] you off.
