A question for all Templars!

Would agree I think there are high numbers of templars as people saw the cleric dominance in eq1 and expected it to continue here. Also that goodys generally have a higher population anyway than evil might play a  role in the imbalance? i dunno.

Yep the Templars appealed most to the old EQ1 players who were expecting it to be the most similar to a cleric in that game.   I'm almost positive thats why there is such an influx.    I've only seen a few defilers played and I have to be honest I'm not sure.  They took the nerf stick as hard as anyone else but seemed just as playable afterwards.   Its not a bad class if you are thinking about trying it out.

Templars use to be the best healer class before the revamp, as guardians were the best tank.  hence these two classes showed large numbers on all servers.   Now that has changed, but people are in those classes and don't want to give up and start some other class.   A year from now though, you may see some other class as the largest population...give it time.
