Am I the only 49 Templar that still uses BoV on a regular basis???

I just think power to heal factor this is one of the best spells we have.

Whats your opinions?

I do use it, but not for healing but to advance HOs. In raids I have also used it from time to time, basically when the other single target ractives are recharging and has already worn out. The Meeting of the Mind raid springs to mind (no pun intended), so extremly many hits on the tank a reactive works like an instant heal.

After the revamp, it looks like the tactic of using old spells to power heroic opportunities will be largely gone, since the wheel relies on the level of the spells used to help determine the strength of the effect.

It should also be easier now that power cost never increases with spell grade (my Master I's cost the same as my Apprentice I's).

I've never stopped using BoV, it is good to stack as a back up and very mana efficient.

i rarely use BoV now.

reason :

AC is the king.

G Intercession gives 212 ac at adept 3, BoV none

unless the situation is the tank getting hit very fast, or i wont use BoV

I cast BoV on secondary tanks or even casters that might grab aggro for a short amount of time. The power to cast is minimal and normally the reactive is more then enough for a hit or 2 to heal back to 100%. Situational really but I still have it on my spell bar.

Never use BoV.

Only low lvl spell I use in prayer of Amelioration ad3 as seperate timer to Word of Restoration.

So you can chain PoA WoR PoA and in 12 sec do about 1400 group healing

BOV is amazing. I use it every fight, every raid, hell i use it sitting in the harbor

During raids, and any raid. I preheal with CI and BOV, so on pull i dont over heal, and i dont under heal. It seems to be just right for the first pull. Once things start getting hot and heavy i stack CI and GI, and have BOV on and waiting to tick off once GI goes down.

And like someone said above, the Trembling raid is a great place to use BOV. Its 677 heal almost instant, if i did my math right. Perfect for casting when the tank hits top of yellow. Refresh BOV and GI and thats basically your only heals for the raid.

ya i still swear by my BoV! i can chain cast BoV when mana gets low till the cows come home... great for those scary pulls stack 3 reactive cures on the tank and he can feel a little safer getting hit by those uber mobs while pulling to the party

I'm a 50 Templar, and always use BoV on raids and difficult fights, because it is on a different timer.

It troubles me greatly that we may no longer be able to do this after the combat changes. As I read it, our single reactives will be on the same timer, and our group reactives will be as well- does anyone on test server know if this is true?

To me, that and losing our group cures are the very worst of the upcoming changes.
