<DIV>This doesn't account for all of the changes, or even use changes that are 100% going through.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> /shrug, i'd wait until final version goes live before passing judgement.</DIV>

Unless I misread, heal for heal, Inquisitors will be better than us. Their single target reactive is better, group reactive is the same. Their version of Greater Amelioration is better, Greater Restoration is the same... We are the defensive cleric, yet we can't heal for as much as our offensive counter part. Does that seem unbalanced to anyone else?

<P>We are the defensive Cleric therefore we get AE dps <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P> <P>This is SoE remember, its their logic.</P>

<DIV>You can't just compare heal to heal though. Templars have debuffs and buffs that proc heals. I think Templars will still "put HP back on MT's" better than other healing classes like they always have. My guess is Inquisitors heals were increased a little bit to compensate for the Templars other heals. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I am not sure I am liking what I see but it doesn't look bad enough to remove the fun out of the game. I can adjust to it. I wouldn't be suprised if the final patch heal amounts change quite a bit before release though.</DIV>

Granted, we do have Mark of Kings and Involuntary Curate. Those are procs though, not guaranteed to go off (especially when needed.) Of course time will tell, but I think my point still stands.</DIV>

<P>main point is....Mark of King and Involuntary Curate doesnt require same group to cast , HP buffs just something extras...inquisitor with Hallowing Inquist will have more power than us overtime (if there's a scout / zerker to proc), and slightly more useful cures... doubt i will still place a Templar in Main Group.</P> <P> </P>

The new Mark of Kings and Involuntary Curate look like spells that won't be used by many Templars. Their heal is totally unpredictable. The chance that they will go off in a situation were they are a real benefit is so slim that it's not worth the mana. Even if they go off their healing will most likely be wasted on a player that already has full health from other heals. You also have to consider that the amount healed compared to other healing spells is so small that even if they go off AND actually heal someone it would have been more efficient to use a normal direct heal. For them to be efficient you would need several procs per cast. The probability that you'll get multiple procs and that they'll actually be useful is around zero. As SOE has removed the mitigation buff of Mark of Kings and as Involuntary Curate is no longer a HOT they are both worthless in my opinion. Mana is the most determining factor for healers. It would be a waste to use them, especially since they decreased our manapool by removing our manapool buff. Looking at the other stats of that comparison we will be the worst and most boring choice as a healer ... besides healing we can not offer other things (speed, root, dd and so on) and at healing we won't be especially good. Wherever we have additional healing spells they are totally unreliable (Mark, Involuntary, etc). With the removal of secondary spell effects we got hit very hard. Many spells offer no value compared to the mana used and with the removal of most of our defensive buffs they took the most defining aspect of our class. What's left is worst damage (high cast time, high mana, low damage) and worst healing. Plus we get punished for having those extra unreliable healings where others have real utility spells by reducing our healing spells ... hurray for templars *G* I really feel like dumping my templar with this patch. Thanks for the comparison. <div></div>
