I think there is some confusion as to the meaning of server-wide.  To me, this means that the chat channel is accessible to everyone on the one server, such as Najena, but not to people from say, Mistmoore or Guk.  A channel that spanned all three servers is game-wide to me. <div></div>

Regardless, it doesn't work on Guk if it is, infact, a worldwide chat channel. <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>However, all servers do have a built in archetype, class and subclass server wide channel available. <P>I was able to join the channel from Grobb and talk to people on Nek et c. </P> <P>When you go to join it, you have to make sure you type it in as eq.serverwide.templar in the channel name box and then hit the join/create button and you should be set. I know it definitely does work although sometimes the channel isn't very talkative-- probably just need to get it circulated some more.</P>

I tried /join eq.serverwide.templar and when i said testing there was no response, so I assume it was empty. ill try it from the chat options tonight I guess.

TeamSpeak has ruined me.  I can't stand to type any more but I'll join the channel again.  I used to join all the channels but since i started using Team Speak I rarely bother to type, or even look at the text on my screen. <div></div>

eq.serverwide.templar does work cross server. I was talking to Grobb.Kaori and Lavastorm.Lomo (I think) and permafrost.Findel was there too. Was good times, the more the merrier.
