Can't say about replacement, look in the spell list maybe. As for upgrading, no, whatever spell you upgrade, it affects only that spell, nothing else.

<DIV>Yea, it really stinks that you can't upgrade training skills nor do you really know how effective it is before you take it.  I took Healing Arc and it was Green.  As soon as I made one level it became grey to me and my Adept I Archhealing is much better and can still be upgraded.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Basically all the training upgrade spells are a waste because you can not ever upgrade them.  Which means you will quickly outgrow them and go back to using the original one anyway.  It is so dumb that they say these spells are meant to "upgrade" your existing spells but the exisiting spells, when upgraded to Adept level are still better.</DIV>
