<DIV>Does this spell fire every time?  And does casting it over top of Inquisitors version (forget name) negate the two?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The reason I ask is, I was in a group last night with a 41 inquisitor and he was casting this spell on tank while I was doing healing.  We got into a few bad pulls and damage being dealt was far greater than I could heal.   I noticed that basically his spell was like a complete heal, and could be recast multiple times during fight.  Eventually I suggested to him that there was really no need to heal the tank, to which the Inquisitor replied that he wasn't (explains why I got to see his spell fully heal the tank on more than a few occasions.)  Next fight, he casts spell (had a macro that declared such) and I said "letting her drop".  I then cast my version on wizard who had habit of drawing agro, cast intercession in case agro was lost, and went about debuffing.  Bam, tank dies, group gets ganked.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The inquisitor suggested that the reason the spell didn't fire is that I had cast mine on top of his (possibly I mistargeted when casting on the wiz I guess.)  One of the other group members suggested that using it as a complete heal was simply assinine because it doesnt fire every time.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Either way my experiment went very, very poorly, but I'm curious as to why.  Hehe, not that I'll be trying this again anytime soon.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

The Inquisitor version, Redemption can be cast on top of Salvation, although only one fires off (I think it is the one most recently cast, but not sure, your example supports this).</FONT></DIV> <DIV>The reason I ask is, I was in a group last night with a 41 inquisitor and he was casting this spell on tank while I was doing healing. Bam, tank dies, group gets ganked...</DIV> <DIV>                    <FONT color=#ffff00>Redemption used to be a complete heal, but shouldn't be anymore (patch fixed this, /bug if not, it's unfair and unintended). As it used to be, there was no point to heal over Redemption, it was an 80 power CH. The only problem with these spells, and you must be careful about it, is that mobs can dispel them. Watch your maintained spell bar, and it will be dispelled if cast early in the fight (sometimes, not always). Also, since the fix, the 1500 or so heal that these spells do at Adept1 isn't worth the risk of being dispelled and dying. I recommend healing, and using this spell as a last ditch attempt to save a situation.</FONT></DIV> <DIV> <HR> <BR></DIV></BLOCKQUOTE>

<DIV>Well, let me tell you that the Inquisitor's version was most definitely doing a complete heal when it fired.  So no nerf yet.  And I was very shocked to see it in action.  Of course that is why it seemed senseless to keep wasting mana healing when this spell could be used as a complete heal over and over again.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The dispelling, and let's assume that's what happened here, obviously makes this whole idea a risky proposition.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks for the input Auria.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>
