<DIV>Giants</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Treants</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Centaurs</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>In areas that are levels 30, 40, 50 are any of these types of creatures found. I'm looking to pick the most useful. Don't want to pick one race if there is only 1 mob spawn location and the others have millions.</DIV>

<DIV>That is what I was leaning towards just wanted to make sure.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks :smileyvery-happy:</DIV>
I'd say giants too, centaurs are boring, way too many legs to master, treants I've yet to even come across.
<DIV>Does it really matter?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Maybe I'm missing something, but all we seem to get for mastery is a dedicated nuke. However, it seems to me that that nuke does around the same damage as my best smite spell yet costs significantly more power.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As far as I can see, the mastery nukes are pointless for a templar.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I chose giant too.</DIV>

<DIV>Yea, they don't matter (unless I'm missing something too), but I find it makes me feel better choosing something I will see in the future. (Unlike centaurs, etc.)</DIV>

<DIV>I agree with Auria. I prefer to pick mobs I would encounter more likely going forward, i.e. at lvl 40 to 50.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Lvl 12 - Gnoll, Orc</DIV> <DIV>I chose Gnoll being Qeynosian. Not sure if there are Gnolls or Orcs in high level zones.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Lvl 16 - Ghost, Skeleton, Zombie</DIV> <DIV>I chose Zombie since they tend to be harder mobs compared to the other 2, however, encounters against skellies are probably more frequent.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Lvl 24 - Centaur, Giants, Treant. Recommend Giant for encounters in Perma and Solusek as Auria pointed out.</DIV> <DIV>I mistakenly chose chose Treant. Bad mistake! :smileysad: </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Lvl 32 - Fairy, Goblin, Golem, Bixie. Recommend Golem due to the encounter frequency thus far. Plus you see them in Everfrost <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Lvl 38 - Nightblood, Elemental, Lizardman, Shadowman.</DIV> <DIV>I chose Lizardman for whoopin' in Feerrott. Not sure if the others are more pertinent.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>-Amb</DIV> <DIV> </DIV><p>Message Edited by Amberel on <span class=date_text>01-10-2005</span> <span class=time_text>07:33 AM</span>

Though I've only seen Ghosts in the commonlands, zombies seem to be nearly everywhere, right along with the skellys.</P> <P>Treants are mainly in Nek forest, just like cents in TS, so useful while you're hunting there, though the giants are else where in the game, like permafrost. =p</P> <P>Definately the golem, because I believe that the other 3 are primarily only in EL.</P> <P>No where close to the last one yet, but would guess elemental would be best, as far as multizone usage goes. The others are more located in certain zones, like the lizardmen in the ferrot.</P> <P> </P> <P>just my 2 cp...</P>

<DIV>L12 - Orc (you never see a gnoll outside of Antonica/TS, whereas orcs are in Zek, and more likely to be in expansions, as a classic fantasy "bad guy")</DIV> <DIV>L16 - I picked Skeleton, although Zombie and Ghosts are common in some zones (Ghosts a huge part of Solusek's Eye, for example, zombie probably being the least common of the 3.)</DIV> <DIV>L24 - Giants are a big part of many high end zones and the same idea they'll more likely be in expansions than Centaurs or Treants (Treants are also in EL.).</DIV> <DIV>L32 - I picked Golem. I spent 5 levels killing nothing but golems and giants to hit 50 pre-patch. There are also golems in Sol's eye, It just seems a natural pick. Goblins are also extremely common, however. LS had tons of them.</DIV> <DIV>L38 - Picked elemental myself, as I don't see lizardmen popping up anywhere, same as nightbloods. Shadowmen confused me, so /shrug. As I haven't seen all the instances, zones, content, etc. this is a hard one to be sure of.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>When it comes down to it, all these are mediocre nukes, so I wouldn't ever sweat picking "the wrong one". I have to date only used the master rages to test how much damage. Although it seems other classes use theirs. Who knows?</DIV>

<DIV>according to the Prima guide (which could be wrong) the priest masters include a debuff as well as a minor nuke. No idea how you would go about finding out though, and there is no debuff in the maintenance window for the masters...</DIV>
Now that we have a better spell description, we really know the usefulness of our Master spells. They slow, debuff and do dmg! Sweet stuff! <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />
<DIV>they all suck, just pick one and forget about the spell</DIV>
<blockquote><hr>kwall wrote:<DIV>they all suck, just pick one and forget about the spell</DIV><hr></blockquote>huh? 1 minute+ slow and debuff sucks? hmmm
