<DIV>I am a level 45 templar. This patch put alot of my single target heals on the same timer, effectively removing half of them. I can no longer play this character in the high-end game. Do not make the mistake I did. If you want to make a healer, make a defiler/inquisitor. They are favored by the developement team by far.</DIV>

<DIV>THE SKY IS FALLING, THE SKY IS FALLING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>What a dramaqueen. Did you ever think this might be an error? Of course not, because you did not think at all, you just posted in a mouthfoaming fit.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Let's wait and see how this pans out before we go telling people not to make templars.</DIV>

<DIV>Whatever vermillion, if you want to play this gimped, [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot]ed up class be my guest. Im playing my illusionist now and stripping my healer.</DIV>
sheesh, calm down. And, do a little more reseach before this kind of posts. The timer issue affects ALL healers as reported right now. Ie. all heals on the same line are put on the same timer for all healer types.Oh, and good luck on your illusionist <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> I am afraid you will find that all mezes are put on the same timer now too!<p>Message Edited by Kal on <span class=date_text>01-06-2005</span> <span class=time_text>01:53 PM</span>

<DIV>Funny kal, that isnt what my level 48 defiler friend told me. All his direct heals are on their own timer still. So why dont YOU do a little more research first <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV><p>Message Edited by Tobruk Bocage on <span class=date_text>01-06-2005</span> <span class=time_text>11:56 AM</span>

<DIV> If you really need to use that many instant heals, you are playing the class incorrectly, or there is something wrong with your tank or group. Use both sets of reactives, and instant heal very rarely... you should come out on top, and with more power. Personally, I have no problem being single healer in CT, Perma, etc.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Niclai</DIV> <DIV>Level 42 Templar - Kithicor</DIV>

<DIV>You must have some nice reactives then, cuz my supplicants has a really hard time dealing with 1000+ dmg barrages that hit the tank AND a nearby DPS, usually a scout. Having two direct target heals on different timers is really nice for times like those. But, not anymore.</DIV>

<DIV>Well, you should probably yell at that scout a bit. My group reactive heals for 311 and single target for 150 or so... so that plus the big instant at around 600 should heal the tank no problem, and its not like most MOBs barrage that often... for the group x2s that hit for like 2000 (Mangler et. al) You definably need two healers, but that is intended.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Niclai</DIV> <DIV> Level 42 Templar - Kithicor</DIV>

<DIV>Thats just it, I never really needed to use the group reactive very much unless on very bad pulls. Now I will be using the group reactive all the time to make up for the loss of healing power and I will be burning tons of power to do it (265 power for crucial intercession)</DIV>

<DIV>Well I will admit that I do not know the names of his spells but his word was good enough for me. This patch had better be just a huge mistake.</DIV>
I am sure you trust your friend, but here is the thing,If I don't use my templar's 2 quick heals (combat healing, amelioration) + 2 big heals (arch healing, restoration) and I just use amelioration + restoration. Now, someone asks me... "Kal, are your instant heals on the same timer after the patch?" I would say no, they are working just fine. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />It's only when you are using 2 heals from different tiers in the same line that the timer issue comes into play.I agree with you this patch seems harsh though. And it affects a lot more than just templar.

<DIV>All spell casters seem to have been affected by this, any spell on a similar line will recast with a spell you cast, I know shammy druids clerics wizards and enchanters having problems here.</DIV>

<DIV>Mystics got it bad, their wards and instant heals are on the same timer now.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As for us, I'm doing L50 groupx2 mobs right now with a 3 person group (monk, me, and a wizard) np's.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>We never were able to use 2x Regimens spells, those were always on the same timer. Apparently, however, in beta, all spells were on the same timer like it is now, so perhaps we were just playing bugged. (BoV is on the same timer as Caulria's, but both can be stacked on 1 target; SP and GI are still lumped together)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The added traits are sooo sweet though. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Illusionists take a lot of skill to play, and there's never enough of them. Good luck Tobruk, going to miss you on the board. <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

<DIV>Well I picked Nomsoes over Caulria's cuz I hadnt seen the boards yet <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> (Is this char perma-screwed now? I picked a skill that is obsolete at 45 instead of one I could have really used). Also, I used arch healing all the time... what do you do? Just run Crucial Intercession all the time?</DIV>

I'm a Defiler, level 33. Healing ritual is on the same timer as sacrifial aid - this REALLY sucks for me at the mo. Spectral ward is on the same timer as spectral guard - sucky again, totemic aid is on the same timer as putrified balm as well.. so effectively I just have 2 heals, a single target ward and a group ward. Also wards suck on any tank that isn't a bruiser or monk.

<DIV>We at least can stack 2 target reactives (not including the training 1), sorry to hear Defilers got it bad. <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

<DIV>im a 28 templar but spend most of the time crafting, can u list which spells are on the same timer now? if its combat healing and arch healing then ouch. when things go badly or at the start of a multi pull, i find myself chaining them till they are out of the red and i cant get my reactives back on.</DIV>
<blockquote><hr>AndaraX wrote:<DIV>Does Caulria's heal for more than adept 3 BoV?</DIV><hr></blockquote>Yes it does. In terms of efficiency, BoV is a litttttllle more efficient than CSV.

Good riddance all you morons do is roll up a healer then complain when you can't get a group cause 70% of the server population is one. What are you going to do when new dungeons come out and a Ench can take the spot of the 2nd healer, groups won't need two anymore and you'll find yourself begging for new solo quests or rerolling.Atleast I got ahead of that trend.<p>Message Edited by [Removed for Content] in the Hat on <span class=date_text>01-06-2005</span> <span class=time_text>04:29 PM</span>
