<DIV>I know a lot of people are disappointed with this spell. I use App 3 Bov and have App 3 Supplicant prayer. Yes it's sad I don't have adept 3, but on my server I can't get it for less then 20 gold and I've never had more then 12 gold at one time. But my shabby spell levels is not the subject hehe. As far as amount healed, Supplicant prayer at my current level heals for 3 more points then BoV. But that's not what I want people to check out. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I want people to use Supplicant Prayer, and inspect your tank in the middle of combat. Watch there AC. Supplicant prayer unlike BOV states that it can increase there AC. I've been inspecting the tank in the middle of combat, and noticed 200+ AC gains. I can't be sure this is the spell or things they are doing. Kinda need to do more testing, but that's why I'm asking for help.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Tank I was grouped with last night I used only SP (supplicant prayer) on and i noticed 200 point ac gains. I didn't notice these gains when using BOV. I started checking this after I noticed that using SP on the tank required less recast then BOV, which confused me since there is only a 3hp diffrence. So I clicked examine on BoV and SP and noticed SP can add AC to person I cast SP on. So I started inspecting my tank in middle of combat, sadly the inspect screen doesn't refresh AC on it's own, so you have to cancel and hit inspect again to see the change. But none the less I saw 200 point ac gains. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I'm not saying anyone is wrong, I'm just asking for help checking these numbers. Because for me there is something more to SP then just the HP it does. </DIV>

<DIV> </DIV> <DIV>another easy way to check it is to go solo something real easy and cast it on yourself. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>im at work right now so am unable to. does the ac come into play when the spell is activated, when it is cast initially?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>does sooething sermon have ac value as well? I noticed that SP had the same icon as Soothing Sermon and for a brief time, i thought it was the upgrade to BOC. snice the icon has the sword, shield and whatever swirling around the target</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>Not that the descriptions are accurate for all the spells, but for Supplicant's Prayer (and Intercession, the upgrade to Soothing Sermon) they are correct, they both mention a chance for an AC increase when it is activated. Neither BoV nor SS have this.</DIV>

<DIV>At level 32.2 Supplicant's prayer adds 101 AC (Adept 3).</DIV> <DIV>At level 32.2 Intercession adds 98 AC (Adept 1).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If you have both up you can add a total of 199 AC to your tank. I never use both at the same time though, it's just to much power. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The AC component of these spells are bugged (at least I think they are). They show as negative effects when activated and using Arcane Aid will erase them from your target. Hopefully this will be fixed, but for now don't use the cure unless your tank is rooted.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Edit: Added spell level.</DIV><p>Message Edited by Ember on <span class=date_text>01-05-2005</span> <span class=time_text>06:06 PM</span>

<DIV> Thanks for the information. I myself never even thought about the AC buff when considering BoV / SP. It would make sense that a heal + buff would cost more power than just a heal, and thus look less efficient.</DIV>

<DIV>Yes, it has a small AC boost. However, the inquisitor version also has an ac effect (debuff in their case), but still heals for 30 more.</DIV>

AC debuff? I thought their reactive did minor divine damage or something like that.
