Apprentice Vs Adept Spell Effectiveness

<DIV>Thought it would be useful to get some information on our boards about the increase in spell effectiveness as we upgrade from App I, II, II to Adept I, then III.  I have only read general "get upgrades as soon as you can" type guidance.  For instance, have read that the jump from App III to Adept I is the most significant.  App I to App III not as much so (cannot remember the exact source of this info).  Would be very useful to read about the actual benefits noted from upgrades, if anyone can relate.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I looked around some and did not see another thread on this topic.  Please excuse if I am asking a Most Repeated Question.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Arngeir, Templar of Guk</DIV>

<DIV><FONT color=#0033ff>There was a thread dealing with this topic in the spells forum.  The consensus seeme to be that the gain for upgrading spells is around 25% per level, e.g. App I to AppIII would be a 50% gain in effectiveness.  The Adept III version would be around 125% more effective than App I.  I have no data to support these notions, but no one on the other thread disagreed with them.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV>I upgraded the second symbol spell from app2 to adept 1 at 36, and got a 8 HP upgrade. So not all adept 1s are really worth buying.</DIV>

<DIV>At around 26 or 27, I upgraded BoV from app3 to adept3 and saw no increase in healing.  I still healed for 134.  </DIV>
