<DIV>Just wondering how much concentration characters have out there.  I'm currently a level 28 High Elf Templar and I have 5 Concentration.  Just wondering if there is a way to increase this at all, or how much might I need at a higher level.</DIV>

Concentration is fixed at 5 points for all classes and races whatever the level I'm afraid, you never get more.

<DIV>That's not cool, sometimes it'd be really cool if you could get up to 7 or something.....</DIV>

<DIV>Yes, but it starts to make you think about the best way to use your concentration, rather than having just 'the best' buffs up on everyone.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>For example if you're in a team with an excellent tank you may want to put just a Redoubt on him and focus on Protective Faith, Protectorate spells along with Daring and Symbol for better all round team hp/power/mitigation and personal power.  But then again if you have a bad tank and you or especially a mage is getting hit a lot, you may want to leave out protective faith and/or protectorate and put extra redoubts up on maybe you or the mage etc, so you can take more hits and have more time to heal.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As time goes on the concentration will make thinknig about buffs more necessary and seperate the way people play more. Rather than everyone being identical and having no choices to make, which I think is a good thing.</DIV>

Oh and if you are having problems with selecting spells for your 5 slots with a Templar, you would really have problems with a Bard! Bard buffs last between 2 and a half and 8 and half minutes and can take from one to three concentration depending on what they are. So as a Bard you are constantly switching buffs in and out depending on group composition and checking for convenient refresh times as you really don't want to cast a buff during a pull.Oh and of course you have to get in position to use your flanking attacks during fights and control HOs. Bards take a lot of skill to play properly, which is why I play my Templar to relax <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />.
