<DIV>I love being a templar and have always had great experiences healing my groups. I'd also like to say that everyone has made very good suggestions, but there was one that I didn't see said and that I don't think too many peopl take into consideration.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Its been said to take your tanks hitpoints and AC into consideration along with the enemy's level. Once again, this is all important because we heal reactively. Something that can be far more important as a templar is to also know how your enemy attacks. If you are fighting a group of melee enemies with a high attack speed and medium damage, you are the one for the job. Your reactive heals are going to reduce all the incoming attacks to nothing and you won't spend much power. On the other hand, you may come across enemies that con exactly the same but hit slower with much higher damage. These are the ones that will give you a run for your money. Your rective heals are not going to cover their hits even though their damage per second might be the same. You will end up using more instant heals and your power is going to fall fast. Certain enemy groups might even amplify the risk where you have to focus on killing some healers first allowing more of these attacks to connect with your tank. When fighting these types of mobs you will need to stick with ones that con lower.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>In my experience, I always start a new enemy type low and then push to higher ones as I get used to what they can do. With some enemies, I can heal a full group with no problem against orange double up arrows, but with others a green might require a lot more attention.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I think that about covers it and don't give up on your templar. We are very very powerful when played correctly. We are just not as easy to play correctly in my opinion (and that is part of the fun - its all just a game).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Vires Lightbane</DIV> <DIV>Lucan D'Lere</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV><p>Message Edited by theJuckett on <span class=date_text>12-26-2004</span> <span class=time_text>02:46 PM</span>
