<DIV>I currently don't use this spell, and wanted to see if any other templars did and found it useful?</DIV>

<DIV>I wouldn't bother using it on gree/blue mobs, they drop too fast.  But it makes a considerable difference on longer fights with higher conning mobs.</DIV>

<DIV>I always use it on double up arrow mobs.   If it's group mobs I use Amending Fate instead.  If we get adds I also throw amending Fate then.</DIV><p>Message Edited by Blast2hell on <span class=date_text>12-22-2004</span> <span class=time_text>01:33 PM</span>

<DIV>I never noticed an effect.  Does it only work on myself?  Or does it apply to the tank?  I have applied it to the tank and never saw his AC go up. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

It's a reactive proc meaning if you hit the mob you cast it on you may receive the "mark". That's approximately what the spell message says also "you have been marked". It's a ~30 second buff that gives some small health regen and adds a significant amount of ac ~50-100. I notice on the longer fights that it helps alot in terms of how often I need to heal.

I guess I should have mentioned that since the effect is reactive proc on the mob then anyone who "hits" it can get the proc. I've gotten the proc before by marking something and then nuking it so apparently it works for spell hits as well.

The spell discription reads like a reverse ds in EQL worked, meaning that everytime you hit the mob you get healed a small amount. If this actually works this way or not, i don't know as it does not notify when it works.

Hmm there's another buff that pops up when you get hit,..the icon looks like a book. Are you sure that's not the one you are thinking of? The icon for mark looks like a circular seal and it only occurs when you hit or cast on the mob.I'll try to pay more attention to it in the future see if it comes up without mark on.
