<DIV>Last night I hit Level 20 - at last.</DIV> <DIV>For the past x number of levels I've been using staff's as my weapon of choice.</DIV> <DIV>Sure these aren't the fastest weapons, but they deal a fair amount of damage and can really help when power is low.</DIV> <DIV>After completing my Templar quest and getting a Mace I'm starting to think that maybe Mace is a better option.</DIV> <DIV>Damage isn't as good, but close, they are faster and of course you can use a shield or symbol at the same time for some added protection.</DIV> <DIV>Right now I'm still using:</DIV> <DIV>WIllow Wood Walking Staff</DIV> <DIV>Of course I've got in the bank:</DIV> <DIV>Aurora's Mace of Blessings</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>What advice for weapon of choice do you more seasoned Templar's have?</DIV> <DIV>Stick to the staff or move over to the Mace?</DIV> <DIV>If the mace - can you recommend a good off-hand partner for it? What shield or symbol should I be looking for to compliment it?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Ta</DIV>

I use a Feysteel Scourge.Basically, use whatever you can get that has the most wis/power, rest is not important, is what I think. As a cleric, you need power to heal, you cannot run out, or your group is in trouble.

<DIV>I agree with the last poster. When your in a group you should deffinetly be using the combo that gives you the best wisdom/power combonation. Probibly your best bet is to get a one handed weapon and a symbol.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If I am soloing however I like to use a twohanded great hammer style weapon for the extra damage. I find if your doing green ^^ this is the onle viable option.</DIV>

<DIV>I too am looking for good one hand weapon & shield / symbol combo suggestions for when I'm in a group and I know my role is just healing.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>However for soloing or times where I can safely get some melee in between heals, I'm currently using the Bo Staff of the Exiled which I bought from the black market broker.  This is an awesome 2-h weapon with great stat bonuses, good dmg and I think the speed is 1.7 which is very good for a 2-H.  I am very happy with it when I'm in melee.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>I agree with brutus on this one, Bo staff of the exiled from theblack market broker, stats are from memory but basically has +6 wis and +4 int (handy for landing those debuffs) +15 health and +27 power!  damage and speed are very nice as well, plus it looks cool when your dwarf is spinning about like some wannabe monk :smileyvery-happy:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>PS it has other stats as well, but they the main ones...</DIV>

i use the Blood stained hammer, and the orb from Stormhold, basically anything that can give more power and wisdom. Up untill then my guild armourer made a 2handed hammer, very nice, if your not in a guild i fully recomend it! as the crafted weapons at various level are beter than the looted ones, most of the time anyway. oh and the best bit of advice : People seem to overlook crafted food and drink, only use the rubbish summoned sludge for general xp, if your hitting hard mobs in a group, cider, malt drink, steak, etc are the food you need, that way you can heal, and debuff and damage to your hearts content, they last voer 1 1/2 hours each and regen fast.<p>Message Edited by Urrano on <span class=date_text>12-22-2004</span> <span class=time_text>11:45 PM</span>
