Everyone's probably noticed how we dont enter combat mode in a group encounter , untill after we cast our first heal or attack. But only recently I found this interesting to do in a group situation with 2 priests. If there are 2 healers , whichever is lowest on power upon mob engagement simply does nothing, and regens to full power before joining in the healing.I've noticed some mages doing this for themselves quite often waiting till later in the fight to start nuking, but never really saw it in widespread use or thought much of it.Dunno if you all do this already, but just thought I'd mention it's something that can help a lot at times just to be aware of, even as sole healer you can often boost overall performance by delaying your heals at the start of the encounter to regen some extra mp.

And as update to this, you can cast both sermon/intercession before mob engagement and pretty much guarantee to regen to full in the opening seconds of the fight while that is ticking.

<DIV>I have noticed this as well and I use it all the time. I'll let the tank get beat down to about 80% life before I actually start doing anything. This technique usually earns me an extra half to a full bubble of power. However on the hardest hitters you really cant do this because you need to start healing fast.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>-Tobruk</DIV> <DIV>37 Templar, Unrest</DIV>

<DIV>I'm kind of thinking this might be a bug. I believe the way the devs want it to work is once the encounter is locked everyone goes to combat mode. Granted, I LIKE the way it works now since I can regen a bit on my Wizard before throwing down the pain. As a lone healer though, I don't have that luxury. With two healers though, yes sounds like a good tactic for now.</DIV>
