<DIV>Hmm...the player handbook states we should be able to use throwing weapons. I have purchased throwing hammers, but cannot use them without a special pouch to put them into! Unfortunately every pouch I have seen at a merchants is RED so I can't use it! Doh!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>This isn't a big deal as you can pull with a spell for the same distance as a throwing item. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>In fact, I don't think Templars and weapons are that big a deal. If you want to tank, play a tank class.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Nurture</DIV> <DIV>25 Templar</DIV> <DIV>Innothule</DIV>

As a dwarf templar i would have loved to throw hammers on my mighty ennemies toes, but we don t have any throwing skills so we re doomed <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />.

It's unfortunately true, I'd have loved to throw 10 pund hammers at stuff <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Yes, you need that red thing, but won't be able to equip it, even if the manual states otherwise.

<DIV>The worst part about not having any equipable ranged slot item is not so much the "yay I have a throwing hammer", it's the inability to gain stat increases or HP/power from the item equipped. Anyone who can equip a slot, should, for these reasons. At each tier, the items are proportional, so at my level, I could be missing out on 6-10 or so to 3 different stats and 30+ on HP/power, that other classes get. /sigh, no big complaint though, just an aspect that most don't think about.</DIV>
