Believe the tier4 jeweler necklace is significantly better than your current one. Should be a few jewelers able to make them by now.

If you are patient, you can get a very nice neck by doing the quest in the cemetary in Antonica (South of the map, east of BB, there is a path getting up in the wall). It's pretty long, but the reward is pretty good. To be honest I just bought a cloth scarf at broker. But yes, the jewelry stuff is pretty good.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>For the forearms, I'm wearing medium armor to give you an idea. Found them on the broker too, more AC than the quest ones and better stats. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I can't find any better shoulders or gloves for the life of me, still wearing the quest one (or the gloves you get from Stormhold that are hardly better). My boots are medium armor as well, and I've seen probably 3 different kinds of helms that are almost as good as the other one. Go figure.</DIV>

<DIV>black tainted armor  for shoulders, cloth scarf (CoB) for neck are pretty good at 30, and still decent at 35. There is collar of the obedient quest in runyeye if you ok with a +50hp +0power item</DIV>

same <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> especially in runnyeye with all the eyes charming.Btw how many different bugs have you seen associated to mob charms ?-Insta death of charmed PC once charm breaks-charmed PC runs through wall, and once charm breaks he is sent back to safe spot-Mob puts itself in yell mode as soon as he charms someone in group-charmed PC runs and agroes other mobs then dies inside a wall (seems npc or charmed pc do not have same restrictions as pc for crossing walls). Becomes unrezable, and impossible to get shard without a gm.All these reasons to boost resists to never get charmed <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

Our tanks legs shake now when a mob with the ability to charm inc. The only positive thing i know about it is those now die in a blink (everybody opens the can).

<DIV>Yeah I think the named in ToV will be gray at your level, so you won't get loot.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>To be honest though, black tainted armor was awesome before the nerf, but is really not so great now. Barely better from the quest armor from what I have seen.</DIV>

kulreath: I got mine before the patch that nerfed it. By that time the armor was better quality than rubicite and wearable at 30, and the named that dropped the piece was repoping every 2 minutes or so. I haven't checked since, as it had become grey.Gwynet: it is still an upgrade to quested armor (not really when you start to be able to use it, but as it has higher mastery skill it becomes better as you level above 2<img src="/smilies/b2eb59423fbf5fa39342041237025880.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />.<p>Message Edited by khrokhro on <span class=date_text>12-18-2004</span> <span class=time_text>03:16 AM</span>
