<DIV>Sorry if this has been beat to death, I looked through the other threads and saw nothing on this, though its probably in another forum.  But let me get this straight, we can only use Bucklers correct?  Is there any known plan to let us use something a bit more useful?  I only ask because I've gotten several diecent shields as loot/quest drops, but can't use any of them because they aren't bucklers.  Don't get me wrong using a 2h weapon is nice for the DPS advantage, but a shield is great for blocking attacks, especially if it has a high shield factor.</DIV>

Correct, we can only use bucklers and good bucklers are rare.

<DIV>I too have often had higher HP and AC than the tank, but our damage mitation sucks.  I've often seen them take a real beating and be ok (w/ me as only healer, so no wards), where as I get pulverised.  I know we aren't suppose to be a tank, but if the tank goes down, i'd like more than 2 seconds to get an aggro dump off and get the hell outta there. =p    I have no expectations on being able to equip the best shields in the game, no thats for the crusaders, but something that isn't a trash can lid and has a few AC or shield factor.  Granted the game is still new and stuff is still being found so we can hope that there are better ones out there.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I guess my biggest gripe about this would be that bucklers look really stupid, especially when you're in full quested armor and better.  (Especially with a crude tree branch strapped to my hip, but thats another issue)  And I know that there are many many other things that need to be addressed prior to getting down to nitty gritty graphical things, but hey, you can always hope. =)  </DIV>
