Cleric adepts

<DIV>I would just like to say, before I get on to adepts, that I love this class. It is so much fun...tiring but fun. I often have to heal constantly if I am the only healer, but the debuffs we get and the ease of casting heal spells of multiple targets makes up for that.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>One thing I am getting alittle dissapointed with, though, is that I have never once seen a templar Adept spell drop. I havent even seen a templar spell drop. Are they just amazingly rare or am I just not seeing them. I think one of the reason bestowal gets eaten through so quick is that I only have app 2. I have adept of combat healing and it heals close to as much as arch healing, so you can imagine i would like bestowal adept. I can't afford to buy it in the bazaar, especially when its costing pward of 5g...just dont have that money yet. This is doubly concerning considering the number of bard and swashbukler adepts i have in my bank heehee.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Any news on the best places to find these would be appreciated. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Is anyone else finding healing of tanks in many places to be a hard effort, dropping power right down most times? I usually bestowal before pull, then stick on mark of pawns (if time before bestowal fades), then its usually bestowal again (which i often back up with a quick combat heal), then if fight is long I will sign of weakness and just keep up the bestowal. I quite often use amend fate too in group fights. It usually works out well but can be terribly power consuming against ornage and red cons.</DIV> <DIV>I think I am doing good as a cleric, haven't had any complaints about my style yet, but I'm not sure if I am the only one often getting very low on power. <DIV>I have seen adept 1 combat heal drop, other then that i have not seen nor heard of any templar spell droping for the adept 1 level. I think its just broken. When you can go to a broker and buy have the spells in the game at adept 1 level for 20 silver and the other half costs 2-5 gold  if its sold at all ,something is very broken.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>This is just something that Soe goofed on and needs to fix but probally will not until we all pass through the levels we need them at and encounter the issue of why no 30-40 Templar spells drop.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>love the way SoE does things at times. </DIV>

<DIV>As far as I know, BoV adept I does not drop in game.  If I were you, I would either go mining in Antonica for a silver or coral (took me about 3 long days) or buy one (sometimes you can find it for 2 to 5 gp) and have someone make the adept III for you.  I will never reget getting this spell.  It makes a huge difference.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I see the App III for sale of BoV all the time for about 25sp.  Get this at least while you wait on the silver or coral.  Also try building a relationship with a scholar.  It makes it so much easier to have a go to person in game for all your spells.</DIV>

<DIV>I would try spending a few days harvesting through the Tiers and then sell everything you find.  Rocks and Wood harvests almost always sell at each Tier.  I have only found two rares so far Lapis and Yarrow.  I have a order in for the Lapis but it will not make any of the spells I really want.  I actually had 2 gold at one point last week, my max so far.  I quickly bought some spell upgrades.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Try the black market because I think there are different drops on the Evil side.  I am starting to see more Adept3s on the market on both sides now.  Costs are slowly going down and if you keep trying there are kind people who sell for affordable prices.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>You should be able to sell Tier2 rocks and wood and get at least a gold for a days work.  If you get lucky and find a rare then just find somebody to make what you want.  Most are willing to do it cheap or free if you provide the rare.  They get experience for making it and rares are hard to find so they get something out of it too.  </DIV>

I am on Crushbone server and the only adept templar spells I have seen for sale are combat healing and combative faith.Seems we always get spell drops (adept1) for every class but the ones I always group with.

BoV Adept 1 = Scarecrows (lvl 11/12) and any other ^^ lvl 12-15 mobs. Supposedly the ones near Steppes Station have been dropping them too. This one I cannot personally confirm.

<DIV>I am on HighKeep and have been buying most of my adept1s off of the Freeport Black Market in Q Harbor.  I also gathered 3 tier 2 rares so I created adept 3 spells for Vitae, symbol, and daring.  I also bought a Master 1 book for Combat Healing, which I must say makes it so much better...CH heals for either 325 or 345 now, I can't remember, but it is great!  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I also currently have 3 tier 3 rares from steppes but I need to level up my sage so I can upgrade my spells! I didn't start finding Templar adepts until level 30ish, in Runnyeye and Rivervale. Sages are charging too high a price for our adept3s, BoV is "meh", and the people who could really, really use it, i.e. pre-Supplicant's Prayer, don't have the coin to drop 11-13gp on BoV. What adds to the rarity of our adepts, and thus the cost, is almost every party has one cleric type in it, meaning these books get nbg'd immediately when/if they do drop. The best place to look for Templar adepts is on the Blackmarket in Qeynos Harbor. Cast Enduring Breath on yourself and swim in the canal inside the city walls and you'll find it. As Regimens is useless to anyone in Freeport, wise evil-doers put them up for sale, knowing Templars will buy. Usually the price there is a good 50% what you could expect on the Qeynosian broker. Other then that, just expect to use app2s if you outlevel your server's sages.</DIV>

I have a few of the Adept Templar spells on Toxxullia but not many. They seem to be really rare to come by other than Combat Healing and Minor Arch Healing which I have seen quiet a few listed on the brokers, however I have <STRONG>NEVER </STRONG>seen one actually drop in a group ive had. I did see an Adept 3 spell finally listed on the broker for 10gold. Maybe Sony is finding out that the spell drops and componets needed are not dropping as offened as needed.<BR>
