Healing touch ... /cry

I have just recently dinged level 28, and I was glad to receive at least the spell Healing touch.I thought it was finally the group heal I've been waiting for so long, indeed Prayer of Amelioration was becoming quite useless at my level and I was rejoicing to try that new spell.And then, suddently all went wrong very fast :First I noticed that the App I version of the level 28 spell healed less than the App 3 version of the level 15 spell. Needless to say, I was stunned.Then I noticed that the mana cost was about 50% higherAfter that, I had the displeasure to realise that the casting time was 1 second higher too ...And finally, last but not least I realised that there was a ... a ... a 28 seconds recast ?!?Someone really did any serious playtesting for lvl 25+ templar ? Honestly sometimes I wonder ... Please tell me this is a joke ... please ...

<DIV>First of all get app2. Big difference in the amount per cast. Then find someone to make you app3. Compare your mana pool to your mana pool 10 levels ago. Then ask yourself how many group heals you had 10 levels ago. Just one right? Now you have 2. The spell heals for more as you grow in strength. Butso does the power usage. But then again your power pool increases.  This system isnt black and white  like the  simple Atari system EQ1 had when it came to everything. Dont fret. It gets better. ky is right in this one. Healing touch is ok. In fact, all the spells in the Templar line up is ok. Only Lvl 26 reactive is not...

<DIV>The app2 isn't that much better honestly. But yeah, the spell started being worth using 2 or 3 levels later. And of course, on AE mobs, it's great to have both. I still use Prayer of Amelioration more unfortunately, because when you really need to heal the group fast, 2 second casting is just way better. I wonder if it isn't a bug though, I remember they changed the casting time on beta 1 week before release, maybe they just didn't adjust the upgrade...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I still think the system is **mods 4 teh win!!1!** though. I'm getting tired of getting spell upgrades that won't leave my spell book for 3 or more levels.</DIV>

Ok, now that I am lvl 39, I have discovered that this spell isn't as worthless as it first seem. You just need to wait like hmmm lvl 33-34 for it to be really useful.Yes, it is an instant heal, by opposition to our reactive heal ... but don't be mistaken, it is an instant heal with a casting time ... so basicly it is just a group heal.However if you want a terrific group heal, Intercession plain rocks tho get it in adept 1 asap :oP
