<DIV>Has anyone noticed that you can cast this on other people not grouped with you? It seems strange that you aren't able to heal or rez people unless you're grouped, but you can port people without their permission. Adding insult to injury, there's no confirmation message so unless you're always watching your back, you may find yourself at your hometown. Granted this wouldn't be so bad if it there was confirmation provided. I know someone who's abusing this ability and it's difficult to group while he's around because he's always porting people. I know a number of others who petitioned this guy, but nothing seems come out of it. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anyone else noticing that this is a problem? </DIV>

I would like to know this: what is the difference in the oddessy spell and the call of Qeynos (or freeport i assume) that everone gets, other than the required stone? THey both seem to port the player to their home town..ryan.

<DIV>Call of Qeynos/Overlord is self only. Odyssey is target player send home go byebye. I healed someone last night that wasn't engaged, so I didn't see any problems with that. The rezzing bug was intentionally put in (from what I read), becuase peopel were rezzing over and over again while the player kept dying. No rez box confirmatioin.</DIV>

<DIV>They are going to remove the group only rez/etc option when they get a confirmation box.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<P>Not sure if a Dev did see this yet, but it might be good to bring this bug to their attention.</P> <P>Odyssey can be cast uppon a player that is NOT in the same group like the caster is. This is a big problem, as it can be used for extensive griefing.</P> <P>I did not believe it, so I tested it yesterday.... and it realy works. If the "victim" is not suspecting this, it can be very bad.<BR>I could even port the tank of a group that is just enganged in a major encounter... and wipe the whole group. NICE. Let's go and have some fun :smileyvery-happy:</P> <P>No seriously... change it to "confirmation-box" or "in group only", please.</P>

<DIV>Honestly, it is tempting to use it on other players just so that they realize that this spell is a waste and shouldn't even be in game.</DIV>

I would have had a use for this the other night. My groupmate fell down the well in Stormhold at level 21. He had just used Call of Qeynos minutes before and spent the next 12 minutes or so staring at red goblins and wishing he or I had a stone on them <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />. Typically, this would be much more useful if not everyone had a call home, or if stones could be atuned to different places in Norath.

<DIV>Maybe the plan is to sell different stones in the future. After casting the dialog would come up "Where do you want to go?" like the griffin rides. So far I have only used it once other than experimenting and that was because I was too lazy to run back to the city and Call hadn't refreshed yet.</DIV>
<DIV>Where do you get the stones? Just curious, thanks.</DIV>
<DIV>Anyone know where I can find the stones?</DIV>
Most scribes and alchemists seem to have them, also found on quite a few "misc" vendors. Priced around 1.5 silver.

Will be good to use on the next Shadow Knight who thinks their "entertainment" spell is funny.edit: SK I think, whatever tank class gets "entertainment" spell which makes you fall down and loose your buffs.<p>Message Edited by BlackFlowers on <span class=date_text>12-08-2004</span> <span class=time_text>06:47 AM</span>
