<DIV>What has happened with this trial?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I tried it 4 times today and on each occasion ALL of my direct damage spells were resisted. A friend tried it yesterday and had no problem with resists.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>There are no patch notes for today's patch and I am assuming that something was altered either with cleric spells or the resists of the mobs in the trial.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I am now at the point where I can no longer progress in the game.</DIV>

<DIV>I'm not sure if something has changed, or you are just having a really bad luck streak.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As strange as this sounds, you should be able to do this quest without casting any direct damage spells.</DIV> <DIV><BR>Use your reactive heal on yourself when you get low, and try to place rebuke on the mobs to help up your damage a bit while you melee the mobs.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I found that casting direct damage while doing this trial was an inefficient use of my power compared to melee and heals.</DIV> <DIV>The downside is that melee is extrememely slow.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I hope your luck improves on your next try <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

I don't think its a change just to the class trial mobs - I have been getting a lot more resists from just about everything lately. Did Sony sneak in a change to this? Not that it matters anyway... I'm stuck at level 19 for lack of anyone willing to help me with the quest. I can't solo three blue^^ group con mobs at once, so I cannot progress any further.

<DIV>Three blue^^ mobs?  Are you working on the same quest that I did?  I'm a 25 Templar and the only time I ran into ^ con quest mobs was in VS while wandering around looking for the tomb.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

they have different cons per instance <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />i had to try it 3 times with varying degrees of difficulty

<DIV>I did my templar quest this past weekend and I adjusted it somewhat for the instanced zone.</DIV> <DIV>I zoned in, killed the fire bloodsaber, medding a bit, cast bestow on myself and went straight to the named behind the altar.</DIV> <DIV>I killed him asap and only had to recast bestow on myself one more time while the blue group was beating on me.</DIV> <DIV>When the named died, the quest updated and I zoned out.</DIV> <DIV>I had not read anything saying I "had" to kill the blue group so to save time, my power, and sanity I didn't :smileyhappy:</DIV> <DIV>I recommend this if you can cast while being beaten upon.</DIV>

i pulled everything but the named back to the door where i ported ini had some unfortunate pops the first 2 tries, and that area seems to be a safe zone <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />definitely use your HOs and BoV for every pullalso, you can run out the backdoor if it looks bad
