Dual Wield Templars

well i must be doing something wrong, i bought two weapons, that stated dual weild, is it my class not allowing me to, or am i such a newb im missing some grey matter.

<DIV>You don't have the skill to dual wield. So, while you can use a dual wield weapon, you don't have the skill required to wield two of them at once. And I don't think you ever will. Clerics (myself included) are not intended to dual wield, I'm afraid.</DIV>

You can get a similar animation without actually dual wielding by using a symbol skill based item in your off hand. My character is currently using a book in her off hand and in combat she swings the book after her club even though the book doesn't do any damage. There are a few different looks (and stats) on the different types, including ones that could possibly look like a type of mace even though they just provide stats.
