<DIV>I did the Level 20 templar Quest in beta and it was so so so hard. The mobs in the final instance nearly killed you every time and all in all it took me about 2 hours of trying over and over before I completed it. However, they lowered the difficulty of the mobs and I found this time that it was much easier, though not too easy. Great change Devs. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I also love the other changes made to the cleric spell line since beta. Before I felt like a priest jack of all trades, not really being that great in anything. However now I really feel like a cleric. The various types of heals are fantastic and useful in many different situations. Again, great great change. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My only complaint is this. The level 20 templar item received for completing the quest. In beta it started as it is now, as a wooden club that resembles a tree branch. However a week before release it was changed to a really cool looking metal mace with a purple hue to it. I loved it! It looked incredible I thought. However, I was very disappointed to find the reward the wooden club graphic again. I again look like I just got off the Far Journey. I hope this changes back to the nice mace graphic that it had before release. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>All and all I love my Templar! </DIV>
I too was disappointed with the club look, I find it hard to belive the celestial watch would hand out wooden brances to their esteemed Templars. <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />Not to mention that it actually named a MACE, not a club.

Also, the Willow Wood Maul is better?Kinda sucky reward actually...
<DIV>I just finished this quest last night.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I was also quite surprised and dissappointed with the wood "branch" I received at the end of this quest.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My Willow Wood is much better and has better +'s across the board and more of them. I think the only thing the branch had that I wish the willow wood has is a +1 to Wisdom.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Oalao</DIV> <DIV>Level 19 Cleric</DIV>

Could this graphic be a bug then? Have folks already /feedback and/or /bugged it? I will certainly do that myself if/when I make it to templar.
<DIV>I like the graphic of the club, it looks awsome. However I think its more appropriate for a druid. Clerics are all holy and what not and most likely use metal scepters and the such. The club looks cool but not very cleric fitting.</DIV>

<DIV>They didn't only change the graphics, they changed the stats <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Was 6 wisdom and 10+ in power and hitpoints in beta, now it sucks <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

its a faster weapon than the maul, but I don't think it makes up for it in total damage output. I will have to do the math when I get home.

They DID change the graphic though. For most of beta, it was what you see now. A wooden tree branch. A week or so before beta they changed it to a metal mace with a purple hue. It was very very cool I thought. I posted feedback on it, and I hope some wonderful dev reads it (or this thread) and changes it back. I'm embarrassed to even use it with that graphic. lol </DIV>

<DIV>Isn't the Willow Wood maul 2h though? If it is, I would take a one hander any day so I can wear something in my offhand.</DIV>

<DIV>It would be a great druid weapon...graphics and all. But a tree branch for a templar? It doesn't fit. I ended up selling mine to a vendor when no one would buy it. I got a spiffy replacement from the black market. Should have mailed it back to Aurora with a "no thanks" attached. hehe</DIV>

<DIV>I think that we really need to focus our energies on this topic. I just became a Templar the other day and I was severly [Removed for Content] when I got a freaking twig as a weapon. I know that the stats on it are ok, but I seriously look like a complete tool running around with this weapon. I was really hoping that after sinking as many hours into the game as we all have that we would get some decent reward at 20. No instead we get a stupid twig and a gimped healing class. I hope the devs read some of the messages on the Templar board because it is quite obvious that this is a completely broken class.</DIV>
is it right that at level 10 when you become a cleric you get a vest with +3 wis but at 20 you get a twig with +1 wis on it?+1 wis is not good stats

ahh, but dont forget that this is a blessed weapon. It has a proc that can go off for around 65 damage I think it is. I never even noticed it going off till I hit 28. I was in a solo fight and I kept seeing these -65's coming up and I read my log and it was proccing. not huge, but its more damage then we can do with any other weapon..

<DIV>Seriously, I say we have a massive Templar riot, set a fire, and fuel it with our (all powerful) sticks. No joke, I was expecting a more impressive looking weapon for a Templar. Aurora must have forgot we were doing her a huge favor, and decided to get the nicest looking (if that) stick that fell off the tree outside the temple of life at the last minute. Not to mention it has absolute crap for wisdom. You can buy shoddy piece of armor with more wisdom. Seriously, at least give it 4 or 5 wis. If you ask me, I'd rather not be using an overnerfed weapon that doesn't even LOOK like its worth anything. Sony really needs to come out with a large patch maybe once a month, and not a [Removed for Content] expansion pack twice a year. Work on keeping the customers happy instead of how much more money you can take from them. :smileysad:</DIV>

<DIV>4 or 5 wisdom would be too much for an L20 weapon, especially on a quested weapon that is from a mandatory quest. Give it 2 wisdom.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Heck, my Tier5-rare pristine forged ebon battlehammer only has 6 wisdom on it, and the most I've seen on a 1H is 11. :p</DIV>

Ive noticed that proc on every weapon ive used. I actually never even used the Tree Limb of Blessings :smileyhappy: I found a Bo Staff of the Exiled off the black market that had like +26 power or something like that that I adored... served me all the way till late 20s. Never found another bo staff as equivilently nice. I cant remember if I understood the importance of wisdom then, so dont remember if it had good wis or not. Feels like forever ago.

<DIV>Not to argue, but if 4 or 5 wis is too much to put on the Templar subclass weapon, then how come Aldalad's Ring of the holy, which you get for choosing your first subclass, has 3 wis and 15 power in it? If you get a ring like that at level 10, don't you think the weapon you get at level 20 would be AT LEAST 3 wis? 5 may overdue it, 4 would be fair if you asked me, and 3 would actually make it keep-worthy. It would just be nice if they could at least boost up the wis on the weapon by at least 2.</DIV>

<DIV>I agree the weapon is ugly. I do get procs off it for 63 points fairly often though. Of course damage isn't a big fat deal for us.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I did the quest for Toranim's Hammer (a step off on the Ghoulbane Quest) and have it ready to equip when I ding 30 hopefully later today. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Here are the stats on it:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Req Level 30, Recommended Level 35. Damage 9-26, Delay 2. +5 WIS, +6 INT, +20 Health, +20 Power.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I know, that doesn't make the level 20 weap have better graphics, but at least you can get a hammer at 30. :p</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Even harder for me has been finding a decent secondary WIS item. Since the broker search doesn't work right for secondary items its been very hard to find something that gives me a decent WIS pop for that slot.</DIV>
