I went with Ro. I like the INT buff and I LOVE the imp! Or Maybe it's because when people spam hail him he is annnoying and that makes me love him even more. :smileywink: Did anyone choose another line and find it amazing?

Cazic Thule has some very nice utility effects. At the very least the fear effect on the cape is GREAT for soloers. In raids I drop it for other stuff, but I can't say that Ro is any better DPS wise... sp no love lost there.

I went Sol Ro as well
I went with Innoruk until they introduce Bertoxxulous. The quests are incredibly easy and we get even more pets from the Miracles and Blessings. Plus the little mummy suits my character

from a raiding aspect i saw Ro as a clear choice to augment dps. the cloak adds 65 to every spell (no "up to" nonsense). a straight 65 added to every spell adds up over the course of a raid, helps alot with keeping avg DPS up while still performing my utility duties (ie tossing heals, hearts and rez's when the dirge spaces out, lol). plus the Ro blessings and miracles, specifically Ro's Fury and Incinerate, are GREAT. Ro's Fury adds a decent (450ish iirc?) fire dmg proc to every hostile spell for 10 mins and Incinerate is a 17.5kish base fire dmg nuke (i usually land mine for around 37k).

other gods may have a nice effects for soloing or grouping or whatnot, but if youre even a part time raider i think Ro is a no brainer ... at least untill we see Bertoxx

Message Edited by Gheppan on 01-12-2007 07:18 AM

"the cloak adds 65 to every spell (no "up to" nonsense)"I went Ro too. From what I read in another post by someone who'd analyzed the different +dmg items, he said that the Ro cloak effect had been changed so that it's adding about 32-ish to each spell instead of 65 each time...factoring in cast time, tics, etc. Supposedly it might've been an undocumented nerf as this is the only item I know of that doesn't have the "up to" disclaimer.

So like I said, its not that big a deal.

Plus regardless of what you say, most of us do instance on occation cuz thats how you the gear progression tends to work. There are a few diety powers that pretty much allow you to solo any non epic mob in the game with ease, and they aren't in the Ro line. So to each his own... But this all goes back to the concept that necros are supposed to be about DPS, when in fact Necros are about soooo much more.

Message Edited by Zald on 01-12-2007 10:36 AM

I went with Ro...the + to spell damage coupled with other adornments and items with + to spell damage on them add up quickly, the INT buff is nice, and the Imp is the best looking god pet out there.

Some of the damage blessings are very nice also.

One of them I critted a hit of 36k.
