Hi,

Just rolled a necro and at level 10 so far. Only one slight thing that is worrying me though, if I send my pet in to attack two mobs he quite happliy fights the first mob until it dies. So far so good, as soon as the first mob dies though my pets name dissapears from the target window and I have to click on him again to get it back. Now thats not too bad in these low levels with only one or two mobs to worry about but as i get higher and start gruping and stuff and fighting multi mobs I'm a bit worried about losing track of my pet.

Is there a way i can keep him in my target window during battles without having to keep clicking on him, dont fancy trying to find him from a distance and with spell effects going off everywhere lol.

Press F1 twice. All the F keys also represent group members.

I tend to actually hit F1 twice as soon as I send my pet into the first mob. That way you have your pets implied target for the rest of the battle.

you can double click your healthbar also and it will target your pet.

Personally I prefer targeting the mob I'm fighting rather than the pet. That way I know when the pet loses aggro. And also that way it's easier to switch targets by hitting Tab (and there's less chance of targeting something outside the encounter).

You could always make a macro:

/pet attack

/target Petname

Then just target the mob you want to fight and use the macro.

Thanks guys,

The F1 dosen't seem to work, just brings myself up in the target window ? Will try the other suggestions tonight, it's getting a bit annoying because if I send the pet in to kill 2 mobs he will kill the first one and then him and the other mob dissapear from my target window and I have to click on one or the other to get them back. As I said before thats not a disaster soloing but I don't want to have to do that when I'm grouped and fighting multimobs.

Hopefully the other suggestions will work :smileyhappy:

They said hit F1 twice. First F1 will target yourself, second F1 will target your pet. Same with F2-F6 for group members.
