<DIV>Ok, the title is melodramatic, I admit it.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I have made every Necromancer spell from 1-23 (current level) as Adept 3 (except for my Master II choice at 14, and a few Master Is I was lucky enough to get). When I reach a new level, the first thing I do is drop everything and go harvest until I have the rares to make the Adept 3s for the spells obtained that level. This has gone very well (albeit rather slowly) until now. Now that I'm in my 20s and harvesting Palladium in Nektulos, the drop rate on stone rares has become ridiculous (10+ hours of dedicated harvesting for ONE Palladium). The lowest price on the broker for Palladium last time I checked was 32g!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I'll save my opinions on the harvesting and get to the point: is it even worth my time to do this? I don't see the harvesting getting any better, and I'm getting burnt out very quickly now. Making App IVs is super easy, so I'm thinking of going that route and just picking up Adept1 and Masters off the broker when I can...certainly WAY cheaper than buying Adept3 rares! Does this sound like the wise decision?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I solo frequently, and will always try to have my Pet and Stances for said pet at Adept3 or better, but will keeping my other spells as AppIV and Adept 1 work out ok? If not, I'm really upset, because harvesting Tier 3 rares for my Adept 3s has quickly become an exercise in utter futility. :smileysad:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

I think you would do better to just get to higher levels, then you can group and get money easily to buy the rares you need. At around level 30ish I would say.<div></div>
<DIV>Most of my friends that roll serious alts will take a toon all the way to 56 on adept 1's. Then harvest all the rares for the unreplaceables, get them made and carry on. Eventually, the adept3's get replaced with masters. You have to know that you're taking the character this high though. If it's just a trash alt that's staying low, you would probably do upgrades.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I didnt realize how much fun this necro would be, so she has a lot of masters, adept3's and legendary equipment for her level. Now that I know I'm going to 70, she's not getting anymore replaced masters or adept3's. And she'll only get basic gear. All the money is being saved for the accumulation of the unreplaced masters.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I'm kind of a dummy in that it takes me a while to figure out what's a fun class. I wasted a lot of time with a healer main thinking I couldnt reroll. The monk taught me it can be done fast, and is easily worth it. </DIV>

<DIV>u will be fine if u got adept 3 pet, stance, and pet buff... the rest can be app4, adept 1, or even app1, most important is...if u enjoy it =)</DIV>

Pets and stances definitely, though pet buffs I slack on. I always do stances, and scout and tank pets to adept3 or master. The mage pet only sees use when Im grouping, and Im not doing much of that on my race to 70. It did happen that I got the teir 5 master mage pet, but it's because it was cheap. She has yet to be used in battle, but she does look cool!
