<DIV>Hi All,</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I was wondering what stats and characteristics improve when you buy a better pet (example: Adapt III to Master 1). I believe the hit points increase. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Does it really make much sence to get a better caster pet for example if it only effects the hit points? Do they do any more damage ?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks in advance :smileywink:</DIV>

of course it does make sense, all his spells are master 1 to begin with.<div></div>

Everything increases. This is the most important thing to upgrade, in my opinion. The hp/ power increases, and all of the spells that your pet uses increase as well. So a master pet has all master spells, and apprentice has all apprentice.<div></div>

master pets are worth any price needed to obtain them as a summoner. <div></div>

You can get them for less that than... But even if you can't, Adept III pets really should be your goal. 2nd priority should be def/off Stancees.

Mitigation does not increase, however. That is one thing that is a serious issue. Tank pet mitigation is a joke. It tanks about as well as I do, it just has more hp.<div></div>
<DIV>Possess Your Minion.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It will show you what the pets do, notably with everything at a master level. While you're there, bring up the persona window to observe your hitpoints, mana, mit, etc.</DIV>
The Persona screen that shows up when you possess your pet is 80% wrong, and 90% useless and deceptive.About the only accurate info you get from possessing your pet is its skill descriptions.
I'll have to test it. When my fury heals the pet out of group, she does a rather large heal which I can visually see the % returned and the amount of the heal. I can start to get a feel for total HP that way.

Someone having lots of coin in no way means they buy it.</P> <P>Where do you think the coin people DO buy comes from? Heck killing certain solo mobs in KoS can generate 2-4 plat an hour plus xp, and that's not even a really GOOD way to make money. </P> <P>I'm so tired of people saying things like this. Having money does not mean you're cheating. </P>

<P>Off topic? lol.. anyways.</P> <P>You're trying to tell me that someone that can spend 200+ plat on a single item is not buying from outside vendors. Unless you've been saving every penny from the start of your character and have not purchased a single item, spell, or anything for that matter I can "MAYBE" say that ok you could have that much but c'mon. There's a big difference between having 200 plat total and being able to spend 200 plat on a single item. </P>

Nothing in this game is worth 200p. Period.Yes, you and others might disagree, and that is your right. At any rate, if you say you can easily earn 200p, then by all means share the secret. Because the economy in this game blowz as it is anyway.Any nobody said you were 'cheating' just because you have 200p to spen. At least not in so many words. <span>:smileywink:</span><div></div>

If you have been around from DOF, the you should know the huge amount of money you can earn from that expansion. Plus the farming from SoS and bonemire in kos expansion. And if you are one of level 60+ tradeskiller since DOF, then you should have over 400 plat easy.
