Crazy T7 Pet Prices

Are T7 Pets priced crazy on all servers? I have been watching them for a few months on Nagafen/PVP and they are [Removed for Content] expensive.

Due to the fact that it is a Master 1 spell it should be rare obviously and especially when it's a major upgrade for a Conjuror or Necromancer. Not to mention you only need to buy for example Master 1 Dreadnought and every spell that you pet has automatically gets upgraded to Master 1.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It sux I know but what can ya do. Looting the spell is usually the best method. Kill mobs around the spell lvl range and you might get it.</DIV>

Saw the master mage pet today for 117p... thats just [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] imho. Guess I'll never buy a master from the broker because necro stuff is always way overpriced. Alts. now its all alts. <div></div>

Looted the Grim Heretic twice from Sanctum of Scaleborn. Kill stuff around the level of the spell (62 if I remember correctly) and as frustrating as it is you will eventually get it. Nightshade was the ONLY pet that I could not loot for the life of me...had to buy it eventually.

Well that must have been a recent change... I know that I've been thru SoS for months and NEVER seen a single necro master when I was doing the sos grind from 60 and up <div></div>

Seems it was a more common drop at release of the expansion than it is now. *shrugs*  Then again... it's all random and while one server may only see 1 or 2 of a master, perhaps another server sees 20 or 30 of them... :smileysurprised:

Several days ago I saw Nightshade M1 on the broker for 180 plat.  Is that crazy enough?  There is no way I'm paying 180 plat for any spell, even if it is the nightshade.<div></div>

<div></div>the reason prices are so inflated to legitimate players is bots.  bots farm thousands of plat then sell it to regular people that don't mind ditching 100 plat for a master and the thing is SOE doesn't seem interested in stopping the bots.  i mean look at top kills worldwide and it isn't hard to spot the bots so just go watch them for a bit and then ban them.for me though i got tank from guildie and mage for 20 plat.<div></div><p>Message Edited by quamdar on <span class=date_text>08-26-2006</span> <span class=time_text>03:55 AM</span>

Probably just me but I think it's a shame that Master I's for all classes are so common these days that everyone feels they are the 'must have'  version.    I used to be able to name the guys who had master versions of pets on my server (no it wasn't me).   Now it's less common to see a T7 necro without the M1 66 Tank.  Nightshade is still pretty hard to come by but I do see plenty of those around too.People saying most necro's can't afford prices and they should be lower,   I just think most necro's shouldn't have them but I know there should be some equality with other classes.   Adept III's were something I used to be really happy with but they are pretty much trivial in T7.   All too late in the day now though.    Just play and enjoy yourself as there's nothing breaking about having to put up with an adept III,  with current master drop rate you will have the Tank and Caster at least.   It's just a matter of a little time before you either loot them or can afford the going auction prices.On a related note, there is no way you'd see the Nightshade going for as much as it does if the expansion was adding a tier.   I think that's one of the reasons you see people throwing money on these things.  <div></div>

I like EQ2, but the way this game is drop and item dependent is a major flaw IMO.  Why should the power of a character depend so much on items and drops.  A coercer Master charm TRIPLES the DPS of caster pets.  That just sounds nuts to me.  TRIPLES.  Id rather see all items and drops removed from the game rather than the complete imbalance of some drops, and the ridiculous improvements that items provide in character power.Im sure most people disagree with me, or else theyd find a less item centric MMORPG, but this is the thing that bugged me about EQ and they continue with the same game design.Mal<div></div>

yeah grim pet drops in sanctum of scaleborn, but never for me so i bought mine for 20pp <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> we have over 100 fairly active lvl 70 necros on bb, and many more lvl 60+ so masters are rare. 20pp was a deal.!
