Can anyone detail each pets dps? Is there a way? For example, I just got my new mage pet at 34 which quickly followed my new scout pet. Which has higher dps? How do I know? Any ideas? I did a search but did not come up with much. Any help is appreciated.<div></div>

i have a 35 necro alt. I notice higher dps on a single target with the assasin pet. Mage pet is great vs. group mobs it procs heals and other benificial effects. I have the mage at adept1 and assasin at adept 3 atm. use the mage only when you know th tank is good and can handle group taunting or you'll be recasting alot. hope it helps.

You can check out each pet to see what its abilities are using the intro AA ability 'possess minion'.  (Activate the ability, then mouseover/rclick the new hotbar to see what the pet's spells do, also can use the 'personal' tab to check its stats and dps/haste mods.)In general: the assassin pet has single target abilities only, and does high dps on a single target with melee and poison based combat arts. It is very power efficient and can keep going for a long time, but tends to pull aggro if you don't back it off periodically on long fights.Warlock pet has several encounter aoe spells and a couple single target ones... it will do much better dps than the assassin with 3+ targets in encounter, but tends to run out of power quickly on long fights. Some of its spells are group lifetaps which will help out your group a little with healing.  If it runs out of spells to cast it will run up to the mob and try to melee but it has a -90% dps mod so won't do much.  Also likes to pull aggro on grouped encounters same as a player warlock.<div></div>

Get a parser.  As long as your pet has a different name to you it will show seperately.<div></div>

Are parsers considered third party and therefore a bannable offense?<div></div>

No.  They do not alter the game in any way.  Parsers simply read data from your log file.<div></div>
