Level 34 Master2

G'day guys, I've just dinged level 34 and was hoping forsome advice as which master2 to get? I'm leaning towards Grisly Brace as my wife and I duo a lot and I tend to be the tank and she tends to go towards the dps (we're both necro's). Other than that I was thinking of Withering Affliction - am I thinking in the correct direction?Thanks,

Defensive stance is a good choice if you solo/duo alot.

This one's actually not as straightforward as you'd think it is because of future M2 choices, upgrades, etc. For example, at the 44 choice, you get the choice of an M2 defensive stance again, but this time it's much closer to your current level, where at 34, the spell is already 6 levels old. But you do NOT get the choice of your DoT again, and the M2 lvl 31 DoT is better (or equal perhaps) to the AD1 level 45 DoT. Add to this that you're probably going to be getting the level 42 Defensive stance to Master since you CAN'T get the level 56 one to M2, but you CAN get the offensive stance to M2 from the 54 choice.Bottom line: go with the DoT. You're likely to get the longest usage out of it compared to any of the other choices. If you don't use a rare to get the lvl 45 adept3 (which only that and M1 are better than the M2 of the choices you're making), the DoT could last you until level 59 and you get the adept (or higher, since there's no upgrade) of that DoT.

Matter of personal taste, I suppose. Since you mainly duo with a dps class I think you would be better off with the Grisly Brace at Master II. Its the choice I made since I solo 90% of the time.  As you get closer to 40 you add more DOT spells to your line up that stack with one another. So, I don't think you would miss the extra DOT damage from and M2 Withering Affliction.  Get your tank pet to adept III.  Get your dumb fire pets to adept I (adept III is much prefered).  I think you will be happy.  Then, at 44 go for the defensive stance at M2 again.  <div></div>
