Found this on our spell list. How one earth does this work?Single target str/int debuff + chance to gain one of six single-use special abilities listed below. Only one of each ability may be stored at a time. If no ability is granted, essence of anguish is returned. (Possibly bugged.) Found Do you you have have all six spells on your taskbar and one of them will light up? Sounds odd...

This means, that you can have all 6 spells in the spellbar, but you can use them only once. After that you musst wait till the spell used drops again from a killed mob, before you can use it again. They are not stackable.
Message Edited by subaridu on 07-05-2006 03:14 PM

Mentla wrote:Sounds utterly **** and a pain on the old screen clutter. You guys use/like this?

Yep, all the time. I like the debuff and some of these spells (Unstoppable soul springs to mind) are nice. Just drag the popped spells to a hotbar, they will stay there for you and pop in same place. No different from a large (albeit variable) recast if used correctly.

Main ones i use areThe AE damage (roughly 900 AE)Mit and health boost for 30 secs (useful on raid pulls or in dire straits on yourself)I use the others as an when i need them but i always use the main debuff as long as i have some essences.

(Just drag the popped spells to a hotbar, they will stay there for you and pop in same place.)

These spells will only pop in the same place if they are the next 6 available spots open on the hotbar. If you have any spots open on previous hotbars these will be filled in first. Even if you drag all of them into a new hotbar, as soon as you use them and they re-pop, they will go to the next open spot on hotbar. You may not have realized this if your hotbar contained no open spots before you got this spell. Me on the other hand, I like to divide up spells with spaces in my hotbar, so I had to do some rearranging If there is a way to prevent them from doind this Please>>>>>>>> let me know

Shanabue

56 Necro

I'll check it out next time I login but I just know I've never had any headaches with them since they doctored how they work .

Well, sounds like a pain to me. Will have to try it out when I get up to that lvl. Not going to be any time soon at this rate - was 20% away from lvl 46 at start of the week and am still 45. Given up on grouping having twice ran that horrible journey to CT to find the group breaks within 2 mins of me getting there and general poor quality tanking. They just STAND THERE for about 2 mins between pulls, never notice if the healer has pulled agro and just don't seem to know what they are doing full stop. Player quality seems to be going through the floor unfortunately Sorry, rant over...

I'd come tank for you in CT with my SK if you were on Befallen.

I just soloed from 47.13 to 48.09 today in about 3 hours in Sinking Sands. The quests on the beach don't take long and tend to be white or yellow so were a nice xp bump for each completion. Got 20+ gold in quest rewards too. Haven't sold my loot yet, so I don't know my full profit for the day.

And I got a master box off a level 45 solo Dune Spiderling. That was nice. Not saying it'll happen for you, but I was sure happy about it. Now if only those 6 numbers would match on the lotto. . . . .

Drawing of souls is one of the first spells i cast along with loathsome mark on each mob in an encounter just the effects from the initial spell help out in less damage on your group, the servile soul helps for extra dps also < the little snake dumbfire guy> but he has out of encounter aes that draw agro but they do decent damage in addition the the rest

The servile soul is a nice extra dumbfire.. though I wish they would fix the out-of-encounter aggro bug on it. I sincerely doubt that is working as intended.

You'll get used to how the spells proc and when to use them effectively. My one major complaint is that at level 70 several of them don't seem to have the same effectiveness as they did when I first got the spell. For example, in many solo situations I could use petsilent soul in addition to the cloud spell as an effective means of killing everything around me.

Now, cloud + pestilent soul = everything is beating on me and very mad at me... FD!

Unstoppable soul + urchane (sp?) + bolster = one hell of a MT.

I use flayer's soul to kill the ranger

Could have done more CT for the 47-48, but wanted to work a little AA on quest completion. And wanted to start the Carpet Quests at 47 too. That's why I waited.
Isn't one of them a 14% HP buff and Mitigation for 30 seconds? I use that on the MT from time to time. I love these spells, just hate them poping up all the time
