Im curious of the necro assassin pet is poison based rather than disease, and are there any other pets that do primarly poison? This is just out of curiosity, I turned around my AA line from debuffing the mobs stats, and poison resist. And now my guild necro is doing alot less damage. And I am just curious of this had anything to do with it.

When did you change the AA line? Did you know that in the last LU which occurred on June 14th that the Scout pets were nerfed and now they do less damage based on that. Also the AGI line appears to effect dmg as well.

The scout pet does poison based damage and piercing/slashing autoattackThe warlock pet does poison based spell damage, 1 heat damage AE lifetap (and crushing autoattack? <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> )how much debuffs are we talking about in that AA line?<div></div>

"how much debuffs are we talking about in that AA line?"Im a ranger, I got sick of people dragging me down while I boost some particular classes up.. So I figured ok instead of the 2k poison debuff that gives assassins/necros a large boost.. Im goin to start getting myself higher on the parser. - Now that necro is crying for me to put that AA back because he nolonger holds 1.1k dps.

I'm sure anyone doing less than expected damage on raid parse--especially rangers--will get stick off guild.<div></div>
I agree with Nainitsuj but i guess hardcore raiders love the parsing.

<blockquote><hr>Mentla wrote:Conj > Necro for raid dps? In perfect conditions in perfect group.<hr></blockquote>I dunno about that. In my experience (and our guild just got our DT access on sunday... woot!), the 3 "regular" summoners on our raids, one conjurer, me, and another necro, we're pretty much always exchanging positions in the top spots. The rangers and assassins are also competeing, and winning occasionally, but we're all over 1k DPS (when we're "on the ball" for the fight), and there doesn't see to be an appreciable tendancy towards one class.Except when you get into the ultra-long fights. Then necros rule. Archlich power regen ftw!!! <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> And even outside of that, it can be more beneficial to re-summon your pet (giving them a 100% power bar) than to wait for regen, boosting both summoners above the preds.

We are still working in the lab quite a bit and the mob's ae in there that one shot the pets is putting a bit of a damper on the summoner dps. Nothing more frustrating than casting undead tide and seeing them fall like bowling balls on the way into the fight from a massive ae.<div></div>

I respecced to this last week and havent regretted it so far, lower dps from pet but no recasting all the time means averages higher. On non AE mobs you just use your normal scout/mage and voila perfect setup in my eyes.
