View Full Version : Awaken Grave broken?

Did anyone else notice that after LU24 our Awaken Grave doesnt melee anymore?It just casts "rapid decay" every 3 sec (which is encounter ae dd), and no more melee attacks?I hope it doesnt work as intended...<div></div>

<DIV>The fact that is was attacking in the first place was most likely a bug. The Grave line is meant to be an ae (group) dot that is killable (kind of a waste of a pet if you ask me). It is more dot than pet unlike the swarm spells which are more pet than dot.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So yeah, it is working as intended... and like its auto attack was doing much...</DIV>

Is there any post from the Devs about the Awaken Grave change? If it was changed? I'm not doubting you, but I've not played since Mid May as I've been out of country on work.However, I'm seeing quite a bit of posts from alot of peeps talking about certain changes that were never mentioned by the Dev posts.Just curious why they would change something that's not mentioned, or better yet, why SoE continually "forgets" to posts information regarding issues like this.Just curious.<div></div>

They stealthed quite a few changes in with the last LU that didn't make the patch notes..</P> <P> </P> <P>Some that effect us the most that I have noticed:</P> <P>-Fluff pets ( gazer, aviaks, mushroom guy) no longer hold pet buffs. I'm betting this is related to the "no autoattack between combat arts" bug the melees were talking about yesterday, and that Moorgard commented on and confirmed as a bug. So I'd bet that this is exactly the same thing, but manifested in one of our pets, rather than happening to people.Moor's comments are linked <a target="_blank" href="http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=combat&message.id=107350#M107350">here</a> and <a target="_blank" href="http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=combat&message.id=107457#M107457">here</a>. "Oh sorry, we don't tell you everything b'cuz we can't remember it all 'cuz we alter waay too much to begin with"C'mon really. Either the game is just "THAT" messed up, or they just don't know how to code in the first place, or they are just liars. NOT accusing any one of the three... just "observations" of what I've seen. How can you NOT know what you change? You changed it. There is an really kewl invention called... wait for it... pen and paper /gaspTake notes on paper about YOUR changes if YOUR computer cannot seem to list the changes you've made.Ok, now I'm sure some will argue that somethings probably don't need to be known... this is always arguable on 2 fronts. Those who want the info, and those who really don't care about it. Personally, I'd like to know what's going on at all times. "Can you really tell a difference? Even though you probably don't notice hundreds of changes every day?" Who is to say? But something as significant as pet mitigation, power drains, and all sorts of other buffs/debuffs should be noted. IMHOJust an idea...<div></div>

Appears this is fixed as of today along with the other symptoms of the autoattack bug.  Awaken grave was smacking things for ~300 disease dmg in between decay puffs today.<div></div>
