Why do I see a beam of yellow light trace from my Minion?

<div>Dang. I see a beam of yellow light trace/shine away from my minion  every few fights. I know I'm not on drug's and I know its there foresure. Is this a graphics problem or part of how it should be?</div>

<div></div>Sounds like a graphic glitch. I see that sometimes from a pet, or from other objects in the game (usually related to the player character). A thin "beam" goes out from the pet (etc.) to infinity. If this happens even after rebooting PC and logging back on, I'd suggest to double check that you have the latest video driver, and maybe try different settings in the Graphics options of EQ2. If it only occurs after you've played the game for awhile, it may be due to a memory leak instead.
