Cost of Rotting Thrall Adept 3 or master 1?

I would expect to pay around 40g - 50g to have this made by a sage.Buying an opal from broker is round 25g - 35g  of course if you find a rare then you only need to deal with the sage fee.Sage fee is around 4g - 10gThe best way is to find a sage and have it made. And always deal with a sage that can have the scroll ready before you close the deal.I always trade the rare and pay the fee for the scroll when I meet them. I never give them the rare out right because SOE will not refund you the loss if you get ripped off.Not sure what server your on... but I know a good sage on butcherblock. <div></div><p>Prices will definitely vary from server to server, since every server's economy is different.</p><p>The good news though is - you'll have some time to save up, or harvest to get the rare. Rotting Thrall is a level 38 spell - you'll be getting Shadowy Stalker (the assassin pet) at 32.</p><p> </p>

Adept 3's, made by commissioning a sage, can be MUCH more cost-effective than Master 1's. It can be very hard to find a good deal on a Master 1, partly because there are a LOT of necros and it's a very popular "alt" or "twink" class.  The Adept 3 route is the way I go for my necro.<div></div>

More often than not, they can pass along the names of reputable Sages (and/or Alchemists for the ink, if necessary) who won't rip you off. I think the master book drops in Runnyeye. (I got it from a friend).Since you are 32, I would find a group and enter Runnyeye. Who knows you get lucky?There's also a lot of other loot and amazing XP to be gotten in that dungeon.<div></div>

<div></div><p>Thanks for the input, I met a sage last night on 30-39 channel that is a high level Necro as well, I bought Rotting Thrall and Swarm of Bats Adept 1 for 50GP each, those are 2 upgrades I wanted to make sure I had rightaway when I reach those levels. This sage will also do combines if I supply the rares for 10 -15 gp each which seems fairly reasonable and I feel I can trust him.</p><p>Ill still keep my eye open for a Master 1 but I can rest easier knowing I at least have the Adept 3 Thrall waiting for me now.
