<div>I have 2 questions for you guys...</div><div>I've seen a few necro's on my server wearing vanadium gear for some reason ... shouldn't all mages wear int? what stat should i be concentrating on if its not int that would most benifit my pet.</div><div>Is there a Master II post of what we have to choose from? I looked and couldn't find any</div><div>Thanks,</div><div> </div>

<div>For the most part, yes, Int is our primary stat which effects our power pool and damage.  However, power is rarely an issue for necros (especially post 50) and a good chunk of our dps comes from our pet (unaffected by int, to my knowledge).</div><div> </div><div>I can see vanadium being useful on a necro for a number of different reasons.  One, increased stamina to counter Lich.  Two, agility and strength for those necros who like to have a more "hands on" approach to killing greens.  Also, there are casters out there who like to add some Str just so they don't get so easily burdened when they carry stuff.</div><div> </div><div>For your Master II's... check eq2.eqsummoners.com.  It's there somewhere.</div>

Doesn't Lich take away a % of your HP though?  If so, having more would actually harm you, not help, as your in-combat regen would be less of what lich takes away.<div></div>

<div></div><p>I was going Higher Int, But now im going for Stam gear , I duo with another Necro alot and we need more HP than Int for healing pets.</p><p>Normally well have 1 tank pet and one DPS. My friend has more HP than I so we generally use his pet as Tank(as hes having 2 HP draining heal spells being cast vs my 1 heal) </p><p>I find alot of your DPS comes from out dumb fire pets which are not affected by our Int then our DoT's of which there is a minimal increase in DPS for Int increase.</p><p>Sure Int is nice but for smaller groups where you pet may be taking dammage I'll go HP any day.</p><p>My thoughts :smileyhappy:</p><p> </p>
