<div>just saw that they closed our petion thread and yes i understand that they arent suppose to be there but how else do we get devs to listen to us ( not that they do anyways) when we have something to say. the upcoming changes is bad for all summoner classes and should not go through i was happy when the spell was just a simple DOT than they gave it a cool animation but than our dot's were getting killed of in the first 30 sec of battle than they fixed it now they want to go back to dumbfire pets taking aoe damage they wont last there duration with that and for all those who say well just time you cast some times that is easier said than done why not just put it back the way it was as a satnadard DOT spell with no cool animation and leave the [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] thing alone after that.</div>

<span><blockquote><hr>Sir Alex wrote:<div>why not just put it back the way it was as a satnadard DOT spell with no cool animation and leave the [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] thing alone after that.</div><hr></blockquote>Because the desire to "balance" has nothing to do with the graphic and everything to do with the damage. You can agree or disagree with the change, but please realise that it has NOTHING to do with the graphic. Also, as the game progresses, "why can't they just put it back the way it was" makes NO sense. "The way it was" was unbalanced in the eyes of the devs. This should be painfully obvious. </span><div></div>
Swarm pets are NOT equivalent to DoTs. They have never been and will never be.They follow different rules, so stop acting like they're the same.Even when swarms were immune to AE, they could still be targetted and killed by a mob. I had it happen several times. By your logic, even that should be impossible. You're not going to get what you want. This change is NOT going to kill the class, so stop focusing on it so much...<div></div>

<div></div>Please don't post dissertations as to why you think a thread should not have been locked. Petitions are against the rules here. End of story.
